Song damaging bug is fixed. See first post for new download link.

Look for a capo-mod compatible version soon.

Poison, where are you getting your capo mod?

If you are using the library.zip from capo mod 5.35, you are actually using rf-mod 4.12 (or .13, not sure which). My mod uses rf-mod 4.15, and is not compatible with earlier versions. Like I said, I don't intend to downport it.

Anyone could do it fairly easily, though. After all, I don't actually know python, and look what I managed!

Actually, because Capo didn't document versions very well, I may have already done the work. I have uploaded source code that may enable Hering mod for 5.35; however, you will need to compile it yourself with RF-mod 4.12.

This probably won't work, but it's worth a shot. At least it's a starting point.

I don't have 4.12, and really am not too interested in downgrading just to see if it works (I may change my mind when I get to the 8th-note HOPO songs, but that will be a while).

See this post for information about compiling FoF.

As far as I know, this does not support other rock meter modules, only the included, vanilla FOF one. I haven't decided whether I want to change that. Since this mod currently does everything I want it to, I don't have any immediate plans to modify it.

If I release a future version, it will include support for 3rd-party rock meters.

Nice. You could've asked, and I would have supplied you with a Python file I started writing, that modularized my code. That might have made this easier, but dunno how far I wrote that though, and you won't need it now though.

I probably couldn't have done anything with the modular file, since I don't actually code. That sounds like a superb idea, though.

Karsus's compilation was a perfect starting ground for me because I could diff, then copy/paste. After that, it was just a matter of bugshooting, which is a cinch thanks to python's easy-to-read error codes.

What version are you using? The best bet is to try a fresh install of RF-mod 4.15, then copy my files over.

If you are using other code mods to RF-mod 4.15, this mod will not work. Especially capo's mod (which is not 4.15 anyways).

Is this a bug:

If I miss a note in the game, the note sound still play. Is this a bug? Ive tried another mod, and if you miss, the note-sound dont play.

Is it possible to enable that the note sound doesn't play when you miss a note?

It is probably not a bug in this code. I don't have that problem; when I miss a note the guitar part drops out. It is most likely a problem with the files for the specific song you are playing. Other posts on this forum have dealt with the issue (try Technical Support).
