if you use a program like adobe illustrator or photoshop you can edit the .svg files yourself, or if you download others, you just copy them into the frets on fire data folder and say "yes" when it asks you to overwrite.

No i want top edit the .dea files notes and keys...

For your purposes use Blender (you may need the Collada plugin, I forget).

I found blender Fine but the Collada plugin is tedious to find...

'Tis indeed a pain in the arse. The new version of 3dsmax (i.e. 9) has *.dae compatability now, but i'm still playing with trying to get the dark/light colouring to work.

In Blender it was down to how you named the different parts, sadly that doesn't seem to work in max. Still, i'll let you know once I work it out.

Tbh, if you're only doing stuff for this then i'd say stick with Blender, but i've got 4 years experience with max and use it for my work all the time, so it would be a hell of a lot better for me to get that working (models work fine so far, like I say, just the colouring that i've probs with).

Lol I am alot more computer inept then i thought... how do you set up the collada plugin(Yes i found it) Or if i can't figure that out is their anypoint in trying?
