How to run videos in the background - Piece of cake, really.

i posted these on the gz forums about a week ago or so, we found out gz2 could do this same thing:

anyways, gh3, performance mode, no fail, played in quickplay (so everything's random) and recorded at 800x600
sorry for the very small lag spikes every once in awhile, but that's the best my computer can do, haha

Any chance you can post them in lower quality? Though if you can't, I understand. Thanks!

i have a problem i'm not sure whats wrong it just won't work when i click on wallpaper the wallpaper just goes black is it suposed to do that?

@Seraph_88, sorry, no mirrors unless someone else wants to make them, rapidshare was just quick and easy (didn't have to split into parts). sorry for the people who can only download 1 per 3 hours

@alex_fof, i'm all done with recording gh3, or at least until i find a way to play in career mode with no fail (trainers didn't work for me >.<). you can always convert the files into lower quality to save on space if that's what you wanted.

The only thing that could make this cooler is if when there is a video in the song folder, it automatically opens vlc, sets the window size to the size of fof, and sets the video to wallpaper.

Second. It should be a .flv file and you post it into the songs folder. Or if it is just one video, post it in your stages folder.

That would probly require some coding of VLC as well

if you leave ur desktop background as "none" then run the video, ur desktop background is video, for those who couldnt figure out.


ok, i finally got it to work (i had to take different steps because i think its different in vista) but i could see through a little bit in the neck and it was kinda buggy, and overall a bit unappealing. its interesting that theres a solution now, but i dont really like it.
