Guitar Hero Compilation Mod - Check it out!

The GH2 file always freezes and just sits there and says Not Responding. I've downloaded it a few times, and even left it sitting there for hours. Is there anywhere else to get it besides MegaUpload? =/

Most of the problems with the songs, jedinat, is that I did not put the rhythm.ogg file in ANY of the songs. Bonehead move, I know. Should've checked that out first. Therefore, the first part of Dead! is "muted", but other than that song, I have not found any other problems. It must be something with your computer or your songs, because I didn't include Dead! or any of the XB360 songs in there. I'm waiting to put them in next version. So it's either your songs, or your computer. It's definitely not with this mod.

Ah, sorry about the 360 songs, forgot I got them from somewhere else... but the other ones are those I dled from your pack... I don't see how it can be a computer issue. I'm not trying to be difficult or anything, I just thought you would like to know. (and perhaps it is different on different difficulty settings? I play on Medium, and the only one I double checked on another difficulty was Jessica.

Err, I didn't say anything about Dead! lol, I just double checked and none of those are 360 songs. I just tested a couple more times, and I'm getting the same problems on diffrent difficulties. I mean, all the other songs run perfectly, so I don't see how it can have anything to do with my comp. Freebird ends about halfway through the same moment each time like the length setting of the song is wrong. (I don't know how the program works, do you input a value for song length when making the song or does it go until its finished?)

Megaupload is saying that I have exceeded my download limit. Any help for that. And it says I still gotta wait another 220 minutes until i can download something else. Help plz!! I still need to download files 4 and 5!

If you don't have a premium account, you can only download so many things in a period of time. Wait until that time is up and try again and it will work. 4 just freezes on me and does the Not Responding thing... Can I get the GH2 songs from anywhere else?

i set up a torrent with everything for this mod in it, you can download the torrent file here

if you dont know how to use torrents, just google it... i would suggest a program like utorrent

for those of you have have already download this mod and you want to help seed, just download the torrent and start downloading the files again.. then overwrite those files with
the ones that you already had downloaded

Thanks again, mantralapse. Jedinat, I really have no clue what the problem is. Sorry, I just have no idea. It may have something to do with how your controls are set up. Tell me if you are using a GH controller and I'll get back to ya. About the Dead! thing, I misread that for Stop!, lol.

Archemon, I don't know what the problem is either. It seems to be a megaupload thing, so I'll check it out. Ok, I just checked it out, and it turns out I've had a 200 download increase on that file, so it could be that so many people were downloading it that you couldn't get on.

I just chose to download the GH2 files, and the thing won't download... It just won't do anything. Been at 0kb/s for around 50 minutes now... -.-" Should I just wait longer?

Hey Duckmeister,

This is the best compilation ever!! Good job, must've took a lot of time.

But I was wondering about the song editor, I noticed that....let's see, how to explain this,.... it's like zoomed out really far compared to what it used to be. The notes are really close together which makes it a little hard syncing notes to the song. I was just wondering, did you make it like that or is it something I did? I like it a lot better the other way, if you know what I'm talking about.

Im having troubles understanding step 9. Can anyone help?

An excellent-looking mod, but I'm having trouble with the RFMod Settings menu. Whenever I try to change the Alternitave Controller option to "On" and when I try to change "Lefty Mode" to "No", I cannot change them. Also, I cannot use the frets in 1-player mode, even though I have changed the control scheme to the regular FoF scheme.

Any help please?

First of all, please guys. LOOK AT THE REST OF THE DISCUSSION. Most of the problems posted on this page have already been discussed.

Paintballjim, this mod sorts the songs into the categories you were talking about. I did all that for you. Why did you say that, R4L? He was asking a question that was completely appropriate for this discussion, which I could've answered (and I just now did), and now he's probably not going to find out that this mod does what he asked.

8 bit wonder, your problem has already been discussed. Please look in the rest of the discussion.

Jayperdu, I know about that problem. I myself tried using the song editor, the green fret was messed up and everything. I know this sounds lame, but don't use the song editor. Try using freetar hero (an excellent program, I used it myself for my new custom song) or something like that. In the general discussion they have a tutorial on using Freetar Hero called "How to make your own FoF songs". Check it out!
