One reason and one reason only: I had no idea where to find it. The original FoF icon was easy to find; it came with RF-Mod's sources :)

I would gladly use the better icon again if you could point me to it (link, or post?). Then I have someone else to add to the credits, I would imagine.

edit: I'm talking about the actual .ico file - if someone can extract that from the .exe file then that would work too. I never got back around to this as I have been buried in optimizing Python code - and my head still feels funny.

BTW - that is a very strange hang that occurs when playing a note with "Accuracy Words Pos" = "Center" -- inexplicable at this time, I will look into it.

Sometimes Career songs in Career mode will still say "Play to Advance" instead of showing the number of times played

I have encountered this problem when I downloaded the PH3 full career set. I am going to download it again and see if it gets fixed. Though this bug has been consistent through 3.015 to 3.017.

BTW, since you released 3.015 I have noticed a huge performance boost, which is awesome. I was playing FOF while downloading and having itunes open and it barely stuttered. The major blurriness I had during gameplay is currently gone. Though that could be because I experimented with certain resolutions. But anyway, thanks MFH! You did an amazing job on optimizing the code!! =]

[Edit]
It wasn't a bug but rather a suggestion.
When you are playing the game, the note streak indicator/overdrive indicator seems to make the fret board move slightly up and down. Sort of in the jagged sense. It hurts my eyes a bit. It is probably due to my graphics card or something. So I was wondering if it would be a possibility to add an option to disable note streak indicators. It would also be helpful because I don't care for it to inform me about my note streak or if my overdrive is ready because I can see it myself on screen. Note that I have been playing this game for awhile and never saw anything for this in the options and I have searched the first post and didn't see anything related to this. I'm sorry though, if it has been asked or stated and I'm being a spazz by suggesting it.

The details in RB theme that should show me the percentage and the average multiplier while I play the song don't move, they just keep being "00.0 %/x", only the note counter moves/works/counts. Is it a setting I just can't find or a bug? :P

i REALLY think it would be better if the Rock Meter didn't "slide" up and down. What I mean is like, in GH, whenever you hit or miss a note, it doesn't slowly move up or down, it just jerks forward or backward or in between. I can tell that I didn't explain this well enough, so ask me to explain it better and I will.
Can we get this forum going again?

I downloaded PH3 full career set again and played a song. It still gives me play to advance after I have already played it. I don't know why it would be doing this, but i have only had this problem with PH3.

One of the things I liked the best about this forum was the quick reply box. I miss it

On topic: I posted this on kof, but I'm not sure if it was noticed...
the song countdown, when it reaches zero, starts counting back from 60 (if the midi ends before the song, as happens with a lot of songs)

EDIT: Actually, it's already on the reported issues in your first post. I should learn to read first

In the options, turn phrases off. That should remove those. Great work with 3.017 :woot:

@MFH
I just wanted to make sure before posting. The GH3 intro sound and the random 'back' sounds were incorporated into this and ready to be used now, correct? Just wanted to make sure. I will be putting out a new release tonight after work if so. If i have missed any of the items on my code requests list you have since knocked out, please let me know and i will change that, at your convenience.

I am about finished with the scrolling background for the song selection screen, and looks great, but it still needs a few tweaks in code i need to work with evilynux on before releasing it.

I used to turn phrases off all the time, but never knew what it did. I guess I shall try it. Thanks!
