Open library.zip, delete Language.pyo from it, and add Language.py in the same place Language.pyo was. It will work just the same as a fresh library.zip including the new file.

In fact I had already seen MrFaust's awesome post and I'm currently using those ones because they are perfect with covers, year, diff... really a good work. We'll see if his rips are correct otherwise it doesn't matter. :thumbup:

im almost positive his rips are the same as all the others, the reason there are problems with the GHIII rips is the software used to rip is buggy.

I think the software has imporoved, as I was planning to look into the custom HOPO thing and got better rips. Haven't looked at it close enough to actually determine how/if that gets placed in the MID, but I did get rips with tempo and beat markers without trying.

A few quick fixes to the GH Co-Op Mode should get the render order right, and bring us to r1053

@azzco ok thank for the information i was wondering when i was going to be able to pull out some help, thanks for the attitude check too, sometimes a person needs one when he is so worked up over something and his crappy relationship stress just flows along with it, thus making a person present an @ss of himself

EDIT i did what was suggested but no still no hopos in thunder horse or stricken...
maybe i'll try that beat thing....

If you're not getting any at all, try opening fretsonfire.ini and deleting everything. A different MID will not help that.

The HUGE star image problem isn't fixed. I'm using rev.1053, and it's still doing it. One thing i noticed that MIGHT have something to do with it, is the ripped images are 32x32 sized, the other previous ones i have been using since the beginning for star images i had stretched to 242x200 size, only because it was way before we had scaling control. But now that i'm going back and fixing some images to do it the right way, this glitch is going to be a problem.
Also, i did rip the perfectstar image from GH3, but of course it's also 32x32, so it currently can't be used until this bug is squashed. It didn't have this behavior until within a week and a half ago since i actually noticed it.

I tried just now to enlarge the image to 96x96, but it's still ignoring the theme settings for results_star (the one i am using for testing purposes.) and still bigger. Not SUPER HUGE though like when using 32x32. The bigger the image, the more control we start getting back is appears. 232x200 image size, i have complete control over theme setting. Hope this helps.

I've reverted back to SVN rev.999, and it's working fine, so i will keep trying from that point until it breaks. And I'll post the revision that breaks it.

Ok, i narrowed the star bug. I reverted to revision 1047 and the star images are displaying properly. And as soon as i revert to revision 1048, they are super big again.

So revision 1048 breaks the image size to super big. And even using up to revision 1053 they are still really big.

This is the change that seems to do it-
Old code-

Code: Select all

self.diffimg1 = None

New code-

Code: Select all

self.diffimg1 = self.engine.data.star3
self.diffimg2 = self.engine.data.star4
self.diffimg3 = self.engine.data.starPerfect

As soon as i revert that, it fine again.

worldrave: it's because of changes in drawStarScore function. I'll fix it tonight, when i get more info.
