This is definitely my favorite FoF mod! Thanks Worldrave!

Weird thing. After setting up my guitar (PS2 via USB converter w/ XBCD), it plays perfect the first load but on subsequent loads it somehow gets remapped where most buttons are "cancel". I have to nuke the player info in the config file then re-setup the guitar. Any ideas?

so, you got as far as knowing what this mod is supposed to be, downloaded it and played, but somehow failed to read the VERY 1ST sentence that mentioned what version this is for. and wonder why us modders are always saying to read the posts before posting. Thank you to everyone else with the huge amounts of compliments recieved. It makes this all worth it. even the last 3 hours on xmas evening day just to last minute finish this, which wasnt my original plan. but figured it wasnt much left, and would make a nice gift.

This is for the 1.1.324 version, not the 1.2.451 version (certain things wouldn't work without modifying things in the program.)
This is a complete mod (Total conversion), zip file with everything (As in a complete whole package, standalone) but WITHOUT the songs, for obvious reasons (those are obtainable in the normal area.) I decided to do it as a standalone version to make sure no one has problems getting it working right, if ran it as is.

I recommend reading from the start of the thread if you havent. alot of you ask questions that are answered in the 1st post even.

Also, great mod!!!! i agree with Evil, its an ultimate Xmas gift.

thanks again guys. about the perspective. after comparing it with screenshots, it looks like i did already start messing with it and just forgot. i got some news since about what each of the values control, so i will be perfecting that now. remember though, this is gh3, and has a lot different perspective then standard fof, so if you dont like that angle, you really shouldnt be using this then, currently its not too far off from the real deal. just need a little more tweeking is all.

The lagging between option screens (and launching a song) is something that was present in herring's mod.
(Just a quick history lesson, so you know that it's not a worldrave issue)

WOW! I did a complete re-install after I messed up my FoF, and the game is running very nice on highest settings! This mod is killer! XD

is there any way to fix the lag between the options screen and playing a song?
seriously its annoying that i have to wait 2 minutes for a song

Update your video card. (Card, not drivers)
Get more RAM

I have a killer xp machine. (Okay, not killer, but pretty good)
ATI x1950 pro video card, 2Gig Ram, WinXP
and the only thing lacking is processor P4 3.0 GHz.
Its not bad, but the menus still take 20+ sec to start the song.
Upgrading the PC is only going to help you a little bit
and isnt worth the money just to make a menu appear faster.
