For giant logs like that - there's probably a set of lines that gets repeated a million times in there. That's all we need to see, and possibly a few lines before it starts.

Bug report r909: No cheats enabled but at score screen it says no highscore for cheaters, Cheats enabled: jurgen.

Game crashed and I had to forcefully kill the process. I took a look at the log(3 last messeges):

Spoiler:(D) View: Push: GameResultsSceneClient
(D) View: Push: GameResultsSceneClient
(E) Loading error:Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/local/games/fofix/src/GameEngine.py", line 784, in main

task.run(ticks)
File "/usr/local/games/fofix/src/Input.py", line 327, in run
self.broadcastEvent(self.keyListeners, "keyPressed", event.key, event.unicode)
File "/usr/local/games/fofix/src/Input.py", line 258, in broadcastEvent
if getattr(l, function)(*args):
File "/usr/local/games/fofix/src/GameResultsScene.py", line 237, in keyPressed
if player.cheating or (self.jurgMode != 1 and self.jurg == i) or (self.jurgdef != 1 and self.jurg == 2):
AttributeError: GameResultsSceneClient instance has no attribute 'jurgdef'

Andos I thought I must have forgotten to turn of jurgen yesterday when recording Marvin's video (first post on this page I think). However looking at the settings jurgen was not enabled, both in the cheats/mods/AI settings and the jurgen sub menu in there (I remember that I used a different config yesterday now).

In any case, I hope that helps a bit.

In short, no cheats were enabled but the game still recognized jurgan as being just that.

just confirming that when you complete a song, instead of stats it shows cheater and says jurgen is active

has anyone else noticed that most of the time if you activate starpower during a sp run, it wont break your streak but no sp is awarded.

edit: BRE's crash the game again

No module named glx

Hi,

First of all, I would like to thank you guys for putting in so much time and effort into developing this masterpiece.

Now I wish to report a strange behaviour:

I was using Slackware 12.1 to play FoF without problems since RF-mod, but when I tried "FoFiX-3.030+r862-Full-GNULinux-32bit.tar.bz2" I started to get this errors:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
xxxxxx@home:~/test/FoFiX-3.030+r862-Full-GNULinux-32bit$ sudo ./FretsOnFire

File "/usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/OpenGL/plugins.py", line 28, in importByName

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thinking that this was a distro problem I tried the same release in kubuntu 8.10 but get the same error again.

Then, just to be shure I follow this instructions to use the last sources from svn and also install all the python modules: https://www.fretsonfire.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=30709

The source release downloaded via svn works ok, but the "FoFiX-3.030+r862-Full-GNULinux-32bit" release not.

Once again thanks for the great job!

r911: Merged Blazingamer's code that implements FoFiX issue 524.

Thanks for the demo video, I'll add that to the list.

Why do all of the obscure and strange issues, that no one else has, always have to happen to me?

http://code.google.com/p/fofix/issues/detail?id=525
Reported by lysdestic, Today (1 minute ago)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. I've only tested this on RB1 with Nirvana - In Bloom
2. Play the song, obtaining star power.
3. Game will crash as soon as you hit the first note of your drum fill.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Song crashes, instead of letting me do those super cool four tom rolls, mann.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
r911, Kubuntu Linux.

Please provide any additional information below.
I cleared my .ini to a backup folder and played with stock settings, so I
know the config isn't the issue.

Here is the result of me playing with the verbose switch enabled:

I just finished putting some of Akedrou's new graphic's menu's to work. Couple shots of NEW Options Menu (not adv. yet, that's next), and NEW Co-Op screen.

Honestly, getting the slant on the text image to look right with the BG image, and also the size and spacing was the worse of it all comparing the 2.

Thanks Akedrou for adding the capability!!! Can't wait til Diff./Instr. and hopefully a Pause text (won't need a BG for that screen.)

These new graphical features added a lot more to the feel than I had imagined that they would. Hopefully we'll see the diff/instrument, pause and animated loading soon.

I'm more interested in Ho/Po and gh:wt style chords right now though.

I'll take this as an opportunity to remain lazy and ask you if it happens on all of your songs? I'm sure it does, I just only had the chance to try with In Bloom.

Perhaps it is worth mentioning that my Kubuntu Linux, much like your vista, is 64-bit.

Edit: You may also want to go post any other details on the Google Code issue I made, I'm of the opinion that it is easier for the developers to maintain if it is kept over there since the thread moves so much, it's hard to keep up. That is why whenever I make in issue, I simply quote it over here. How do you say, Maximum Exposure?
