no you didnt. i downloaded it and it had a better interface (nice work btw) but the multiplier was still nothing for the first 10 notes and then cream, green, purple....

There was a fix posted already for the first 10 lights somewhere towards the beginning of this thread. He said he already uploaded the copy before that change and didn't want people to have to redownload the whole package again just for the images fix.

I downloaded and installed the mod, but on the opening menu I get the same menu with a black background and changed font. On the songs menu, I get CDs instead of the background paper, and I get the same **** fretboard the game came with. What am I doing wrong?

lol. you should REALLY read the readmes when you get these files. its 'standalone'. so do NOT overwrite the package over your old game. just extract it somewhere else. you'll get the new menu and fretboard and stuff. cept you'll have to go to the config file and remove the part where it says "selected library C:/program files etc etc, coz its linking to his last song played, and you dont have it. also, go to hering mod settings and change the song display to 'list' not CD or Cassettes.

Everything for me works fine except for two things. The notes are sticking up, and there aren't any black rings around the tops of them!
Can we get this forum going again?

yeah when i started making my own gh/gh2 rockmeter and scoremeter over my standalone i figured out the problem. the lights are set to track streaks up to 40 notes but guitar hero renders streak lights only go up to 30 and it works like this: (at least in guitar hero 1 and i think 2)
streak(rockmeter1x_) "1"-"10" = 0 lights to 9 yellow lights
streak(rockmeter2x_) "11"-"20" = 10 yellow lights, (as 10 notes gets you to x2 the yellow multiplier) then 1 to 9 green lights (because your getting close to the green multiplier)
streak(rockmeter3x_) "21"-"30" = 10 green lights, then 1-9 purple lights
streak(rockmeter4x_) "31"-"40" (actual streak #30 because streak "1" is the same as no notes hit at all and therefore no lights) it's all 10 full purple lights utill you miss. You don't need to gain any lights because there is no higher multiplier and this is how guitar hero 1 and 2 render it. So when I fixed this problem for my rockmeters, I
checked out and corrected the problem with the ones in my GH3 mod (which if you download the new 1.1 version with my GH comp you can just copy the .pngs and .svgs out of my folder and paste them into the appropriate place in the worldrave folder)
GH3 handles it a bit differently. with gh3
streak(rockmeter1x_) "1"-"10" = 0 cream to 9 cream
streak(rockmeter2x_) "11"-"20" = 10 cream ones and then again 0-9 cream
streak(rockmeter3x_) "21"-"30" = 10 cream and 0-9 green
streak "31-40"(rockmeter4x_) = 10 purple



As a result all you have to do is fill in all the missing .svg files and just rename all the corresponding lights to what there streak is actually supposed to be. Just make sure you take the 10 full purple lights that will end up bieng 4x1 and paste it for all the 4x up to 10. otherwise after you hit more than 30 notes, the lights will go blank.

or you could just wait and play my mod :)

ok my mod compilation has fixed lights for worldraves GH2 and GH3 meters!!! I didn't put them in the /mod folder only (so it would work with other versions of 1.1)

Just copy all of the rockmeter .pngs and .svgs from my gh3 mod folder to worldraves data folder. this has the lights as they actually are on GH3.

Thread with latest version of my GH3 mod with light fix
