I can start the game but when I'm going to choose a song the "Unsubscriptable object"-error appears :( I can scroll round the songs but some songs are folders and the error appears all the time. Except for some songs :p
When I'm gonna start a song it just freezes at "Tuning guitar".

Yes shredder, we ARE using old version :) , with wich RF-mod 2.X works just fine. Had to downgrade from 3.0 to 2.01 (or 2.1, dont remember).

Rogue_F, do you put the src somewhere on the net or do you keep it secret?? I sure would like to look at those files. I also have the unsubscriptable error with a fresh install of the 1.1.324 version. I read somewhere that this commonly happen when a function is expecting a string and is given something else but you know your thing more than me! :;):

Tried to run the mod on the old version and the games failed even to start. The log says it was "TypeError: unsubscriptable object".

It seems as if you don't have the base_library= set to something this error occurs. I will fix it for the release.

To workaround you MUST put this in your fretsonfire.ini in the [game] section

base_library = D:\temp\FretsOnFire-1.1.324-win32\FretsOnFire\data

replace the path to be whatever the directory is that contains your songs directory.

base_library = D:\Games\Frets On Fire Songs

is mine as another example.

That should solve the problem (I was able to reproduce and fix it after deleting my fretsonfire.ini and adding the base_library = back to it)

For those of you asking me questions RE READ MY POST.
