Perhaps make hidden files visible?
Why am I on this website? I'm clearly over the age limit of 14.

I told you it's your fretsonfire.ini settings.

since it affects regular FoF it's obviously not RF-mod. Since you're being a jerk you can ask for help from someone else.

ahwell,

You would be a jerk too if you were just playing perfectly till you downloaded this trash.

Not to mention it takes forever just for it to preview the song now.

My days ruined

RF-Mod is not trash. And to think, we welcomed you to this forum, well there goes your welcome wagon song pack!
If you can read this then you've gone too far.

There goes my hope for humanity, along with my friendliness to you. You're horrible at thanking people who spend time to make something as good as RF-Mod with a simple "thx" as a gift for their effort. I have instant dislike of you. Go play in traffic. If you live, don't come back.
:)

No, we're treating you like **** because you're not even saying so much as a thank you to someone who created one of the greatest mods for the game. At least he contributed to the forum, what have you done other then get pissy because you can't figure out how to install this, in a way try and talk down to Scutch, and waste our time with your stupid posts?
I'll give you a reward if you can answer that.

Come on, guys! Who'd say "Thank you for RF-mod" if RF-mod isn't running for him? And why did nobody tell him where to find fretsonfire.ini (see wiki for that), so he could try to delete it?
I guess this will solve the problem. If not, and if standard FOF was running properly, he might have found a serious bug in RF-mod (which is always good to know).

Has anyone noticed that he hasn't told us what version of FoF he uses or even what version of RF-Mod he downloaded?

the 4.12 link still has the 4.11 sources and changelog - are you sure it's the correct link?
