Re: MFH Mod (FoFiX) 3.0xx (v3.030)
My eyebrows nearly went through the ceiling when I saw that. Nice work.
Two things I noticed:
1. When sorting by play count, instead of sorting based on quantity, it sorts based on the first digit in the number. For example, say you have three songs. Song 1 was played 2 times, Song 2 was played 5 times, and Song 3 was played 25 times. It would be sorted as:
Song 1
Song 3
Song 2
lol
2. When sorting by band difficulty, they are sorted but you get this at the bottom of the list rather than between the tiers:
EDIT: MediaFire is a bit of a ****. http://www.mediafire.com/imageview.php? ... ow&thumb=4

nice catch on the playcount and diff, ill get those fixed up right quick before i go to bed, i love getting a new set of eyes
Re: MFH Mod (FoFiX) 3.0xx (v3.030)
I fixed issue 398 (http://code.google.com/p/fofix/issues/detail?id=398), it was really simple. I've not done any coding work yet but I tried to make a .diff file with SVN and it came out a .patch file.
It's a one line fix anyway.

Nice hman333 but i forgot to tell you i suppose , we need a song_rb2_info_color = ... that ,,info'' is for separated color of Album, Genre and Year.. Name it as you want and tell me to patch it with my next release.
Another thing, i saw u fixed selectedrb2.png over tier.png, that's cool xD Also make (Random song) to be first in list, and the other folders to appear last, not before the (Random Song). If u get me...
For example i have ,,RB2'' folder with songs and ,,DLC'' folder in it. IT shows DLC, (Random song), and then songs..
It should be (Random song), songs, DLC.

Re: MFH Mod (FoFiX) 3.0xx (v3.030)
About the song list, is there plans for icon.png or was it decided that it wasn't needed?
I think it would be a good thing if fretters could use that to identify themselves as there's no "fretter" in the rb2 set list.

Re: MFH Mod (FoFiX) 3.0xx (v3.030)
When will the song.ini wikipage be edited to reflect the new parameters?
I'm asking because I'm updating large parts of my collection and I couldn't find the info there as expected.
Oh and some songs that I'm editign do have rhythm and lead guitar. Should I do those as:
diff_lead =
diff_rhythm =
for now (afaik this is not implemented anywhere yet)?

I have 3.035 at revision 613 and when I finish a song, I go directly to the library. There aren't the stats and the score. Then in the library, I can see the song such as it isn't played

Yes i got the same problem too. It's not showing the game results.. Also there is a problem with the overdrive of the drums , it's getting filled full with hitting just one overdrive path , and the sound of the overdrive is duplicated couple of times.. Also on guitar sometimes the overdrive sound doesn't play..

I haven't had any problem with the guitar overdrive yet. Maybe because I don't use it a lot.

You mean you want something like profiles?

I can help you: my brother and I are lefty, but he play guitar like a right-handed and prefer different settings than mine. Since RF-Mod, I found a tweak to have as much as you want differents profiles

It's very easy. First, go into your FoF folder, and copy "fretsonfire.ini", then paste it one time for each profile needed. Rename these "fretsonfire.ini" to something easy to recognize, like "your-name.ini". So if your three to play, you should have something like:
- - The unmodified "fretsonfire.ini"
- jack.ini
- cathy.ini
- alex.ini
Now, right click on "fretonsfire.exe", and create 3 shorcuts (if you have 3 news .ini), then place them on your desktop (if you have Windows XP Familial, place 1 shorcut in each session needed).
Right click on the first, you should have something like this as "target" (dunno if it's the right term used in english):
"your-harddisk:\your-fretsonfire-location\Frets on Fire\FretsOnFire.exe"
Now, add this line at the end (if your name is Jack and named the .ini like this, obviously :P ):
Code: Select all
-c jack.ini
or, if you named differently
-c your-name.ini
IMPORTANT: DON'T FORGET ADD A SPACE BETWEEN "....FretsOnFire.exe" and -c jack.ini, thus making something like this:
"your-harddisk:\your-fretsonfire-location\Frets on Fire\FretsOnFire.exe" -c jack.ini
THE SPACE BETWEEN THE GREEN AND BLUE IS VERY IMPORTANT, DO NOT FORGET IT!!
Repeat the processus for each shorcut, changing jack.ini to cathy.ini, etc...
Et voila!

You created 3 profiles

Now, by using the appropriate shorcut (if you're on the same desktop, don't forget to rename them to remember which one is yours

Hope I helped
