Could it be that you strum between notes maybe?

It's quite annoying when that happens, just loose timining and all of a sudden the rock meter drops down extremly fast.

Would it be possible to add a few parameters to the song.ini?
album, drumfrets, stuff like that.
There's some coop frettings around. Someone fretted the drums, another fretted the guitar stuff like that. Would be nice if those alternate fretters could be credited as well at the song start.

The album parameter could be used to easily retrive album art with a external application like FoFSM.

its working as far as being able to get everything where you want it, im just trying to figure out how to use .draw to draw the labels instead of binding them to a texture and getting them to update. pretty much the same thing that blazingamer was running into in B-mod

the Quickplay Tier option no longer works? I'll see if I can confirm this. You were looking at your song list in Quickplay mode, not Career mode - correct? Because, you can't turn off tier sorting for career mode - that would be largely pointless.

Also, it looks like the "getting out of the fail zone" crash has been fixed issue 364.

lvl4573r, no idea how to help you.... obviously you've tried a blank fretsonfire.ini and starting fresh - right? Other than that, no idea.

also, issue 365 has been fixed (only happened in certain cases).

---- EDIT ----

The quickplay tier sorting option enable / disable works fine for me... must be user error.

And MFH, the new drum solos and starpower paths rule x) Cuz harmonix fretters know where to put starpower in their midi to make songs more fun, not just random starpaths in the song... Now starpower and overdrive rulz...

Anyone know what I can do to let FoF NOT take up so much of my cpu?

100% All the time with FoF open.

KID can you take out that blank section on the left of the selection image you made me and post it back up
thanks

im getting ready to commit what i have now to SVN, the only thing that still needs to be done is the album/label code. you should be able to use the following in theme.ini to decide where you would like to place each element of the selection screen, also tiers should work, jumping should be fixed, and everything in career mode should be working.

"song_listcd_cd_x"
"song_listcd_cd_y"
"song_listcd_score_x"
"song_listcd_score_y"
"song_listcd_list_x"

also in your themes name list/cd specific backgrounds "songchooselistcd.png". FOFix will look for that file, and if its not there it will use the "songchoosepaper.png"
