Yo, MFH, can you institute a ROCK REV POV? cause I tried the one in options, and nothing happened to the POV.
I wanted to make a Rock Revoltion Mod.

I've just realized what A8 and A#8 probably do. I believe they're information for multiplayer tug-of-war matches. Player 1 plays the notes during the A8 and Player 2 gets the A#8.

Also, something is wrong with the RB POV. The fret buttons are underneath the Overdrive meter in 1280x1024 in R486.

I believe that what the other guy was referring to was the


FAQ.wiki

and the like that are in the wiki folder of the Fofix folder, (If latest patch is applied)


EDIT: Now I am having an issue with compiling. I logged in today, updated, and got this error:

IOError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: 'C:\\Documents and Settings\\Administrator\\Desktop\\FoF Alpha\\data\\library.zip\\OpenGL\\version'


So I followed the instructions in the wiki. Now I get this error:

EDIT: I can actually play it by compiling an exe. You might want to add this info in the wiki. A lot of noobs will get hoplessly confused.

Check your settings, a couple of us alpha testers noticed it switch to the GH2 POV for no apparent reason.

Call me crazy, but you know, besides that I thought it actually looked more like Rock Band.

This "mod" doesn't do anything specific. It is a standalone version of Frets on Fire which is maintained and constantly updated by Myfingershurt and Evilynux among many others in the FoF community. It is based off previous mods (Alarian, Ulimate Coffee) which were similar.
Long story short, it's the same game, but with too many new features to list all in one place.

GH4 themes (rmtype = 3) won't take a custom POV, due to the multiplier dots along the neck only really working with the GH3 POV

3.025 was the last fully stable version for me. After 3.030 I've noticed a lot of freezing during the loading screen. Almost every second song i try to start, freezes at the loading screen. Any thoughts?

This has been happening to a few people including my self a few times, any errors in your log file?

New Alpha Build r491 Resolves Issue 339 and implements Issue 170
- with the the implementation of issue 170 your current HOPO freqs will be different, make sure to go into options and changed them to whatever you like them at
