I want to add section markers to my songs, but EOF's stopped working. The problem seems to be that EOF doesn't repaint itself automatically. If I click File, nothing seems to happen, but if I then drag a different window over EOF, the File menu appears. Obviously it's going to take forever to add section markers if I have to drag another window over EOF every time I do anything.

Works just fine for me. I don't use the built-in converter to create ogg vorbis files though, so people having trouble with loading songs could try converting their song to ogg in Audacity or something and make sure it's named guitar.ogg.
The only little quirk I've found so far is that automatic clap is still there: If clap is enabled, EOF claps once almost immediately when the song is played back, even when there are no notes.
Edit:
Bug 2:
In past versions of EOF, I had noticed that if I used a seek control to jump someplace away from the current position (ie. Home button to seek to start), something wasn't getting updated, because page down would jump back to one beat past where I was before the seek to start. Left/Right arrow seek is what usually reset the seek position to avoid the unexpected jump. This may have manifested again as a problem with the paste code. I can reproduce this error by creating a bookmark somewhere in the middle of the song (ie. on the beat marker where I want to paste something), seeking back to copy a riff, jumping to the bookmark with F8 and pasting. The pasted notes are placed notably-off from where the seek bar was when I pasted. Depending on where EOF is considering the current seek bar position to be, the notes could feasibly end up dozens of beats away from where notes are attempted to be pasted. Here's a screencap of me reproducing this glitch:

Feature request: I wonder if there's a chance that you could implement a volume control for the clap and metronome? Or perhaps a control to jump to the last existing note in the track, or the last note that was placed by the user?

Strange error. Did you try fiddling with the CPU saver option?
i hate eof alway i try to open a song it says file not bufered or something like that
Could you try the new version and post the full error message? Some people don't seem to know that you have to enter a folder name when creating a new song.

Hmm, it doesn't do that for me anymore. I thought I had fixed that.

I think I know what's causing this. There are two variables that keep track of the position line and I am probably forgetting to set one of them when using the seek operations.

Those sound like good features to me. I'll put them on the to-do list.

I've tested all the download links to make sure they weren't corrupted and all of them worked. Is there any way you could upload/send me your "eof.exe" file so I could have a look?
Also, putting the program in your "Program Files" folder is a bad idea. You should at least create a subfolder like "EOF" and put the files there.

I thought of another feature that might be useful: Being able to create a long tail by selecting a note, and using a modifier key+click to extend a tail to the mouse click. Sometimes I work on songs that have note tails 10+ beats long, and it takes a lot of scroll wheel action
