not really, your problem seemed like your library.zip got corrupted or something, but now with the whole library included there shouldn't be any problem for anyone.
My mod (for fof version 1.2.451):

Latest release (5.23), there's a readme in there to install & stuff (source code included).

Hardly. This mod hasn't done nearly the amount that RF Mod has done.

This is, however, a great mod. Great job :D.

Just ignore it. It's just source code.

The note doesn't disappear, only its tail, and it's meant to be like that. The tail is grey so you know you miss, the note is at the bottom so you also now you miss, and you get less garbage on the screen.

But in GH tail doesn't disapear if you don't hit it. I think that it is a bug, but can you still with tail version? :)

Technically is not a bug, I wanted it to be that way. It really doesn't bother me the way it is now, especially for the reasons given above, so for the time being It'll stay.

no big deal, personally i prefer it not to dissapear the tail when missed but guess what? i dont care

Yeah, I combined a lot of stuff as well. I edited the fretsonfire.ini file to make the fret colors more GHish but, the glow looks crap. Other than that, looks rather cool. Don't know how good it matches though.

i make HOPO color2 black. that way basicly on HOPO notes, all the white on reg notes turn blight blue (or whatever color u use)
