Are you kidding me? How can you be offended by the word Harlet? That's lame. Censorship is lame. Any and every form of it is lame. Especially replacing words with ****. You still know what it says. It still should offend you just like the word was there. The message still gets across so why go through the extra work?

(This was not an attack on the forum in any way. It was merely used as an example everyone would know.)

Saying, "How could you be offended by the word harlot?" just shows that you don't know what harlot means.

No, it shows that he accepts that prostitution is and always has been a real part of the world. It's the oldest profession in the world for crissake. Are you offended by Mary Magdalene? She was a whore, and the Bible says as much. While you can find prostitution morally reprehensible, you can still understand how and why it's always present in a society. A7X's use of the word Harlot is biblical; the song is about the apocalypse. I think, if two millenia of Christians have accepted the Bible's use of prostitutes, the problem's gotta be on your end. The fact that you think he should be offended by the word harlot means you're closed-minded, and think you've got the only correct point of view. That really makes me sick.
Why am I on this website? I'm clearly over the age limit of 14.

Instead of jumping on that bandwagon....

Is there a way to turn of the censorship?

First of all, did I censor that song? No.

Second of all, am I close-minded and think my opinion is the only correct one? Absolutely not. I am wrong about many, many, many, things, and I DO NOT need someone to shove it in my face. I used that mod because I don't want to look at crap that offends me every day. If you don't like it, don't bother.

Third of all, I understand what you say about prostitution, but just because it's the oldest profession in the world, and it's part of society doesn't mean that it's right! If something is morally wrong, I have EVERY RIGHT to be offended by it, and you can state your opinion, but don't put me down just because you think that your point of view is right. The world doesn't revolve around you. You have no right to tell me that I'm wrong on a subject of opinion! You can state your opinion, and that's fine.

Fourth of all, when did I say that I think he should be offended by the word harlot? I'd like you to point that out for me, because I clearly cannot see it. You can have your own opinion. It's not like I think I'm the "Opinion Police" and I try to force everyone to think like me. So don't call me close-minded just because you're trying to impose an idiot-stereotype on me. He has his opinion, and I have mine. Why do you think that your opinion is so much better than mine?

I am a Christian myself, and I COMPLETELY accept THE BIBLE'S use of prostitution. You're trying to impose the Bible's use on other uses. You can't do that. For example, I complete accept the Bible's use of the word "hell". Does that mean it's right for someone to say "What the..."? It may be right to you, but to me, that is wrong. If you don't like what I did with my compilation, you can change it, or not download altogether. Don't sit here trying to start an argument about censorship with me when you can just not download it and leave. Frankly, I don't want to see "The Butthole Surfers" every day. If you think that's not okay, then more power to you.

To get off that subject:
Aurocks, this is a complete install of Frets On Fire. It doesn't fit in anything, because it is its own game.

So you're saying I could theoretically have Latest version of Frets on Fire + This game installed at the same time?

Yes. Just install them in different folders.

note:
From whatever version you are using now,
You might want to take the 'fretsonfire.ini' which is
in your c:\documents & settings\user\application data\fretsonfire\ folder and move it into the current folder you
have that has the 'fretsonfire.exe' in.
(Whatever version you have installed in your current FOF folder will just use that .ini that is put in there with it. The .ini does NOT have to be in your 'Documents & settings' folder.

Then... when you install the next version of Frets on Fire.. (This one?) You install it to a different folder, and once again, move the .ini that gets created in the Documents & Settings folder... into this new folder that you are installing to.

(That sounds confusing.... heh)

Great Job Duckmeister, I appreciate your hard work.

So what should I do to change the folders back to the guitar cases? I tried downloading the mod and using the folder.dae as a "mod" but it didn't work, I even tried replacing it with the folder.dae that's in the main data folder.

Sorry for the newb question, thanks

- Jay

PS: While your at it, could you tell me how to change the cd's back to the cassettes, I just have more artwork for casettes.

Okay, if you want to do that, you'll have to go into the "GH-SFXVFX" mod and find the files named "folderlabel.dae", "caselabel", "cassette.dae", "folder.dae", "label", and "label2". Delete them. They will be replaced by the ones in the regular data folder, and you'll be having guitar cases and cassettes! If that doesn't work, pm me, and I'll try to figure it out.

Firstly, nice set of mods.

But one question. How do you change necks with this? The folder in the mod folder thing doesn't seem to work. There's a couple of GH themed necks floating around I'd rather use if I could.

Once again, you rock! Thanks, the folders and cassettes worked.

Oh, and you also have to delete label.dae

Well, element3260's remake of Fozz's ESP-FM400 is what I used for this mod. You can change the neck at will by creating a new folder, one for each neck you are going to use, and an extra folder. Place these all in the mods folder. Take all the necks you want, and separate them into each folder. MAKE SURE you still have an extra folder. Cut the "neck.svg" from GH SFX-VFX in the mods folder, and then paste it in the extra, empty folder. Name the folders the name of the neck (or whatever you want), and when you want a certain neck, go into "Settings", then "Game Settings", then "Mod Settings", and turn on the mod with the specified neck in it. Make sure you turn off the mod with the previous neck.

Thank you all for the great feedback, I really apreciate it.

Wow, this mod sounds fantastic! I have one problem though, I exceeded my download limit on MegaUpload before downloading the last part (part 5) :( would you mind uploading the files to a different host so I can try this great mod out? I'm sure myself as well as many others would appreciate it.

Good work nonetheless!
