EDIT: after trying 'Hero Hotfix' the game tries to load. and stops.
I mean, a screen opens, starts loading, then in a few seconds vanishes and the game auto-quits :p

Going to try the update now...

That Was A Problem, Until I Edited It. I Tried It On 8 Different Computers. Even Linux Based Computers! And They All Still Worked.

You couldn't be more wrong. Unless you have no peripheral vision at all (which is almost impossible) then you should be able to notice when/if your multiplier goes away

but then again, you can't really tell if you missed a note and overstrummed or just overstrummed because it goes down by so little. You may try to correct people but in the end you're also wrong.

If you overstrummed, then your coordination isn't good enough to be able to count the number of notes along with the amount of times you strummed. Your idea is completely unnecessary, but I'm sure some people may think it's cool I guess, like how in RB, they show you percentage of solo.

Stop saying I'm wrong, cuz I'm not you stupid kid.

w/e happened to screw up sounds? if they where on you would see the multiplier go down followed by a screwup sound if you strummed, and if you think the screw up sounds r annoying , then you need to get better i hardly ever hear the damn thing rofl

The update works and all but I think you removed the old way lyrics were displayed. I have "lyrics = True" in the ini and the script I always used before. It always worked before the update.

I'd just like to state that my original implementation of the two types of lyrics (scrolling and script.txt) simultaneously was intentional. It's sometimes hard to read the words as they scroll, and ultimately it helps me to have the whole sentence from script.txt shown at the same time as the scrolling lyrics.

If you don't want both displayed simultaneously, remove (or rename) the script.txt from that song folder.......not exactly brain surgery.

When I get around to working on the next patch, this is something I will re-enable. I haven't even tried any of the unofficial patches, I haven't played very much recently and even then 2.900 works great for me.

I'm glad there are more coders out there releasing unofficial patches to experiment with, ultimately the user reviews of which unofficial patch features work the best will determine what I add to the next official patch.

I'm still involved in other projects at the moment (not nearly as much free time) but that will change :)

sorry I'm the one who coded the new logic to not allow both lyrics to be shown at the same time.

My next hotfix will re-enable that. I might even make an option to enable or disable it.
