Maybe it's on purpose, I dunno

What version are you using?

-Alex

The latest one, 4.11
Maybe it's just me?

How do I use guitar hero looking notes with Herring mod installed. The notes are inverted in color. :(

You have not installed RF-mod correctly. It looks like you either installed another version on top of it or something else.

RF-mod is a complete install, do not install it on top of anything else, or anything else on top of it.

I'm still getting that error. I' 99,9% sure that I installed in correctly. I just extracted the zip to C:\games and moved my song library to data\songs.

It seems that the bass track is significantly ahead of the rest of the song, which sounds really bad and kinda ruins the whole thing for me. I've deleted INIs and everything.

If it matters at all I'm on Vista and dual core. This only happens on some songs, the most obvious to me being Synchronicity II. Is anyone else having this problem? Could this be some sort of bug? Nothing has changed in my song directory since FoF1.1.

This is a problem with FoF 1.2. It plays the wrong speed for mono tracks.

There is a fixed version of the GHII80s rhythm tracks out there on the forums to download.

I can't seem to find this thread in the forum search. Could somebody please link me to it?

I'm 99% sure that you didn't. That error is basically saying that the guitarscene object file does not know what 'lastEvent' is. It's definitely defined in my version, it is not in stock FoF-1.2.

I need to add some sort of debug option I think. Are you sure you have not tried to install any other mods, like herring's mod, or the hyperspeed, or anything?

Thanks RF. I figured the forum just had a crappy search like the PHPbb one. Strange that it would default to OR instead of searching for both keywords or the exact phrase. Sorry for clogging your thread one last time.

I guess it may have been answered already (but 27 pages is alot to read), but is it me or are ho/pos in RF-Mod 4.11 MUCH HARDER than with 3.5 ? I'm just missing half of the ho/pos, even some very simple ones (that I would of course succeed in doing with 3.5). As if it required some bionic precision... or maybe there's a new rule that I didn't understand and things that were tolerated before are not anymore now ? Of course I chosed "RF-Mod" in the options, not the FoF style (I didn't understand anything to FoF style when I tried : I couldn't do ANY of those).

If i dont answer your question it's either not a problem or you are not giving me enough information.

Might even be both.

Did you delete your fretsonfire.ini? Did you remember to reset your audio delay?

RF-mod-4 works just about the same as RF-mod-3. There are some differences but they are related to FoF-1.2

My initial thoughts exactly. However, you'll get used to it. I don't know what it is, but you will get used to it. Weird, I know.
