We get full inspection rights. Decompiling = Inspecting compiled contentes. Thats mainly their goal, theyre very generous with the freedom you get with their library.
Also, the dsp_pitchshift is just a generic .dll, youre free to screw with that one.

Guitar Zero does not alter the sound, it is only a visual style whammy that aids star power. Fof doesn't have star power, so this pointless. Aside from pointless, this dll won't even work with fof. If you want a fake visual whammy appearance use the newer version of fof.
This ranks up there with the "fof in C++" topic. lame.

you havent played guitar zero have you?
About decompiling: Cool, now we wont have to worry about decompiling.
Now its just the hard task of working it into FoF.

I preferred GZ over Fof for a certain amount of time, so I've played it. It doesn't alter the sound on my machine, or any of my friends. If there is something special that has to be done to make it work, I'd love to know.
I may have been wrong about that, but this dll still isn't going to do anything for fof.

I think it's because of drivers. They either have to be 64-bit or just plain RTWave sound drivers. I downloaded ASIO sound drivers to mess with mine, but it didn't work for mine.

Explain to me why you think FoF in C++ would be lame?? C++ would take a lot more work to make something like this than Python but if this was done in C++, making something like whammy or whatever else you wanted would be SOOOO much easier.
the concept isn't lame, the topic is. what has been accomplished with it? Some people act like it can be "converted" to C++. For it to be of any benefit, it would have to be a complete recode.
Fof team. "hey guys, we have this game that allot of people like, even with out whammy. But who cares, lets just flush all that and scrap all our hard work and start over. "
If someone else where to do it, could they even call it "frets on fire?" Do they have the rights to? Why would they want to anyway, it would be their work. It would be a different game by a different set of people. Guitar Zero anyone?

what this topic and the c++ topis is trying to accomplish is not a current thing that would happen right now, its what we can help out with the next Major FoF update. (FoF v2).
