According to a YouTube video, that 4 note chord's A string is supposed to be using fret 10, but I haven't looked into why it's being read as fret 0. The next week or two should see that the rest of the pro guitar spec is deciphered.

Must be a bug as the MIDI looks fine and PS shows it correctly.

Forcing and unforcing HOPO's doesn't work for me. Any idea why?

Mighty interested in possibly helping to beta that PRO editor, as I'm working on charting a few myself. If you're interested, of course. :P

By the way, the Vocals padding thing apparently still doesn't work. D:

Maybe it was random that it worked on my song (where nothing worked at first :tonuge:), but I think 5 ticks won't hurt anyone.

Another issue: Dunno what I'm doing wrong, but if I choose "Custom" and enter 64 (and im in dire need of 64th notes) for [beat] it somehow feels like grid snap off. Same with "measure", but thats obviously the wrong one. Just checked with other intervals that showed: both "beat" and "measure" break one measure into x parts, so theres no difference. And yeah, I already defined time signatures/beats, all in 4/4 and I'm in beats 2-3.

lol one way to avoid this bug would be to calculate in measures, so my 64th notes would be 16th notes in 4/4 measures, and then it works. Not the most comfortable way, good for my brain, though =P

Alright. What I noticed aswell, with Custom GS you cannot scroll the notes, i mean change their length. Ok not that nasty in solos where you mostly use 64ths, but sometimes it can be tricky to enlarge a note that is 1/64th off the beat. Okay, GS off'll do.

How can I add big rock endings with eof? There should be function for that, but I cant find it.

Click the "BRE" tab for the desired instrument track and place a five note chord that runs the desired length of the BRE section. For a drum track, you also have to place a text event saying big_rock_ending at the beat where the BRE starts, otherwise the game will treat it as a drum fill section instead.

Speaking of BRE's, is there any point in having us create a five-note chord in EOF? Is it possible for us to just chart a single note, but put it in the MIDI as five notes?

For now, I think it's just to reflect how it works in Rock Band MIDIs, preventing the MIDI export logic from getting more complicated. There are probably several different ways we could allow them to be authored. I'll update EOF's manual to explain creating BREs and drum rolls just so the information is accessible, but we're open to suggestions for changes. If there's a way to make charting BREs significantly easier, I'm willing to consider it. Perhaps we can force anything entered in the BRE tab to be a 5 lane chord, it should be pretty easy to pull off.
