You can make the wii instruments work on a mac using Darwiin, I don't know how to use it since I don't have one, but if somebody has it and can test

Hi
I've got my GHWT Guitar for Wii working with this script;

death_au's FoFiX script v0.8 from the fofix google code page...

and have tried the more recent death_au's FoFiX script v2.1 from here;

http://www.gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=139670

And when I connect my wiimote to the guitar in the first script it shows up as a GH3 guitar and works mostly (all the color buttons work fine)...not GH4 and thus no tap pad and for some reason no joystick.

With the second script it does not say what type of guitar, but still the same symptoms, no joystick and no tap pad. The whammy works via PPJoy Analog0 and Analog1, but no guitar body joystick...

Can anyone help? Thanks

Jason

---- EDIT ----

I too managed to get my guitar detected as a GH4 by deleting the GH3 detection bit :) Thanks!

Yeah, you seem to have worked it out on your own, but my instrument detection doesn't work that great. Once the script recognizes the correct instrument it works fine, but the detection... needs work.

Also, wow. One of my old scripts ended up all the way over at GBAtemp? Cool.

I tried my GH3 guitar and got "Wiimote1: 1; NOT RECOGNISED" in the box next to Run, but the first and third LEDs are lit up brightly. What could be wrong?

Unplug the WiiMote and plug it back in.

Unplug the WiiMote and plug it back in.

Three tries, no luck.

I've used death script for quite a while with succes (thanks for this great "tool"). From the last time i've used it i've reinstalled Windows and obiouvsly all drivers, but now i cannot get it to work. I've a Les Paul from GH3, but GlovePIE keeps recognizing it as GHWT... drums!

That's what I get:

Image

On top of that as soon as the device is (wrongly) recognized, it starts "dragging" all to the right (that's visiblie in the screenshot as the bottom scrollbar is been dragged all the way to the right side). If i try to move a window by dragging it with the mouse it starts to move to the right of the screen.

I've done this thing many times always with succes but i don't know what's wrong now :/ it's the same OS with the exact same HW (bt dongle and guitar), but the "best" thing is that my GH3 guitar is recognized as a drum XD

Can that possibly be related to the two errors that GlovePIE shows?

I've even tried with the same GlovePIE version that i was using some time ago: nothing. T_T

EDIT: nevermind, i just found/tried 2.1 script from nxumdon post (thanks!) and it works o_O
Thanks anyway for the work :D
