Re: EOF 1.4
New bug:
*"Old Paste" is not undo-able and does not mark the chart as modified
*If the seek line is before the first beat marker (ie. done so using the Home key), pasting causes notes to be inserted/clipped before the first beat instead of being pasted beginning at the first beat marker.
Feature requests:
-More logic code for the "Paste From" feature:
Disable (ie. gray out) a difficulty from the Paste From> menu if that difficulty has no notes.
Omit the "Overwrite notes in this difficulty?" message if the destination difficulty has no notes.
--In the "INI Settings" and Events dialog windows:
Add hotkey to Add and Delete buttons
Allow user to hit enter to activate the "OK" button after typing in a new INI setting
The enter substituting for OK request would actually apply to most input boxes.
Edit:
New bug:
*Clicking and dragging on empty space in the piano roll will cause EOF to mark the chart as modified
Edit again:
New bugs:
*Placing an anchor at a beat (or dragging a beat marker) permanently removes the text event indicator on that beat mark.
*EOF allows an empty selection be copied to its clipboard, and when pasting an empty clipboard causes the chart to be marked as modified
Feature request:
-Ability to edit text events instead of deleting/recreating them. Being able to edit/delete from the "All events" window would also be very handy.

Re: EOF 1.4
I don't mean to sound like a noob, but I have just recently took a venture into linux.
I was wondering how I would go about installing EOF on linux?
Do I have to compile everything myself or what?
There isn't an .exe so I assume I would.
Note that I did search all throughout this website.....didn't find anything for the moment.

Re: EOF 1.4
For the Linux version you have to install the Allegro dev package. Then go to the src folder and type "make -f makefile.linux" to compile it. From there "cd ../bin" and then "./eof" to execute.

Re: EOF 1.4
Bug report:
There is a glitch in the text event handling code used on MIDI import in that EOF will not reliably acknowledge the presence of text events in an imported MIDI for a chart created in v1.42. If a chart is saved, and the midi is imported in the same instance of EOF without re-opening EOF, for some charts it shows the text events (for others, it shows no events). But if I close EOF, open EOF again and import the MIDI, the text events are not shown. I have PM'd you a chart demonstrating this glitch.
And When using "select like" on multiple notes/chords, the function is applied only to the last note/chord that was highlighted

Re: EOF 1.4
EOF does not support text events when importing MIDIs. I plan to fix this for the next version.

Re: EOF 1.4
Noted. That would be a great feature to include.
Newly-found bug:
*Using the tail shorten/lengthen controls when no notes are selected causes EOF to mark the chart as modified

Re: EOF 1.4
Aww, i still cannot use this.. I cant buffer songs.. lol
Could you copy and paste the full error message? It should be "File not buffered!" and the path to the file that EOF cannot buffer. I might be able to figure out why it doesn't work if you show me the path part.

Re: EOF 1.4
If you wanted, you could compress the folder with the files you're trying to work with and upload them, providing a link to them here. Somebody could try to recreate the problem to see if it's a problem with the files themselves.
Edit:
More bugs:
*If the seek bar is less than one beat away from the first beat mark, Page up will not seek to the first beat mark. The same problem happens regarding the last beat mark in that Page down will not seek to the last beat mark if the seek bar is less than one beat away from it. Similarly, if the song ends in a way that causes the last beat in the piano roll to be less than one full beat length, page down will seek past the end of the piano roll so that page up will not seek backward anymore.
*Auto adjust can still cause notes to be deleted instead of being moved
I have PM'd you a chart that can reproduce these bugs.
