Hello! I've searched everywhere, but I haven't found a good program that will open dae files! Everyone says blender will work, but it wouldn't open dae files for me. Do you know of any program that will do this? I'm very interested. Thanks for you comments.

I tried downloading 3d max but I'm on a laptop and it takes waaaaaaaay too long to download. Also it does help, but I don't want to buy that.

Apparently, according to a quick Google search, Photoshop CS3 Extended supports dae files. FAR more "abundant" :oldwink: on the internet than COLLADA.

Hope this helps (bringing down Adobe).

Much less "shady" :glare: way to open .dae files; open source and light. Hope this also helps.

You need Python 2.5 in order to open DAE files in Blender. :smile:

I found a software that works, called strata 3d, but it doesn't label meshes. :thumbdown: :crying:
