MFH Mod (FoFiX) 3.0xx (v3.030) (OLD)
@slantyr: About what moves me... I've been trying to nail down the intermittent BlackSOD when entering songlist for 2 weeks on and off. While I did experienced it myself, I'm totally unable to make it happen in interactive debug mode.
Without the debugger, i don't know how to isolated this issue.
Any tips welcomed.

Wseyler, I solved this bug in RB2 theme (I'm using linux version). Simply all image in ~/games/MFH/data/themes/Rock Band 2/stages must be in 1280x960 resolution. Enlarge short images to fix the problem.
Bye bye, rock rock!!
It's not the resolution that was the problem. It was the way the .png files were being saved. Adobe photoshop was not the program to use when saving, we had to use Irfanview and save with a compression ratio of 9.
Just download the fixed stages here.

@Evilynux
I think it would be usefull for other themers to have control over where to place positions of both meters if that's what you were meaning. Hering originally added that support to fof 1.1 which is what allowed me to make a 2nd meter originally, since at 1st we only had one meter to use.
If your meaning adding support for score color to the theme.ini, that would still be also a cool idea so themers could talor there theme's a bit more without having to change the code to do it. Either one or BOTH is a good idea if not too much trouble.
Also if possible for what you know i am working on next, could you have it so the BONUS folder shows at the bottom of the list?

I've had this kind of thing happen with other programs before... Usually it's related to some sort of memory issue. Debuggers tend to clear the memory the program uses before it runs, whereas that's not the case outside of the debugger.
When it's happened to me like that before it's usually because I'm not initialising something properly. I don't know how python works with initialisation and clearing memory, but maybe it's something to go on. Maybe not, I don't know.

dont you think those stars a little big? i found a 1080p (1944x1080) screenshot of rock band 2 and the stars were 58x58 pixels, yours are 279x293. very few if any people are gonna be running the game any higher than 1080p. it just seems like a huge waste of memory when people are making graphics this big unnecessarily all the time. and dont tell me the png size is small because once its loaded into memory its much bigger.
sorry for the rant but this game is becoming so bloated and slow. i think some refinements are much needed
Try them out first... They scale down in game... And the dimensions are the same as the partial grey stars from the rockband 1theme.. No dimensions were changed at all...

i know they scale down and will look proper. im just saying its wasting memory and making things slow when graphics are made this big unnecessarily, thats all. and im not talking just about you and your stars, im talking about lots of other graphics in the game, too.
heres a crop of a 1080p screenshot with your star beside it to show how incredibly big it is.

Okay, I get it, they're bigger... But nobody flamed on the partial grey's that came with the theme... All i've done is change the colours to better represent rockband 2...

Sounds like it could be your songlist directory... Try setting it again in the options menu...
And make sure the main song folder's name is "songs"
