I just used this splitscreen with some friends using two guitars and it ROCKED !
But I couldn't save the highscore of some reason. Didn't got the chance to write in our names. It worked one time but not after that one :(

btw, at least for me, the glitch where FoF wouldn't start after installing this mod was fixed after the newest version... so now all i have to do is get somebody out here to play me in it!

Sorry if this is demanding in anyway, but I'm not 100% sure with PPJoy. Could someone make a tutorial on how I could config. two keyboards, one normal and one USB to use the same controls (12345 Enter)? Or at least how to map the other keyboard out? Thanks heaps if someone does this. :)

Goodbye everyone. It's been fun. I spent many many hours here on these boards and playing/contributing to FoF. Today I uninstalled my game and deleted all my files. I just don't have the time or interest anymore. I won't be coming back here anymore. I might show up in the IRC from time to time to chat. I regret nothing.

I just got your newest version of split screen mod is even better. the 2P controller works now for choosing options, and all is good. I have had the high score issue too, I don't know if this is song specific or not, it worked the first time, but nothing after. I also found a bug using the editor, when I try to change the BPM of a song, and hit save song, I get a error which reads "list" object has no attribute "getAllEvents" The saving screen shows up, but the game freezes up and I have to kill the process. I don't know what is causing this or if all the editing options in the editor do this or just Set BPM. I can get around it by switching the library.zips. back and forth. In any case this is one hell of a add on Pudding, I can't thanks you enough for this. Keep up the good work!

arg its just not working out for me, nice try. i would really prefer like a lan game where you have a little thumbnail at the bottom right hand corner of the screen that shows you your opponent's screen.

i can only work 1 keyboard @ a time, thts the problem with this mod, ive even tried it with a "historical" keyboard

i need a ps/2 keyboard...i wish somebody would have a garage sale around here and sell one...
anyway, has anyone tested this with a keyboard and GH controller? i'd do it myself but i don't know when i can get my friend to come over...

I have the same editor problems, except I can't get into a song at all to even begin editing - same error as you posted.

i used to have a ps/2 keyboard but i broke it on accident and now i have a crappy usb keyboard that won't recognize any 3 note chord that has a 4-5 combination. crappy keyboard...

Can i use two keyboards and then i emulate one keyboard with ppjoy or do i need a guitarcontroller and a keyboard?

you could use (theoretically) 2 keyboards and emulate one with ppjoy, but it'd have to be a ps/2 keyboard since ppjoy doesn't read USB. you can use virtually any combination of controllers too, i have a keyboard and a ps2 style USB gamepad that both work.
