That would require I think either a theme.ini, or changing the FretsonFire.ini that comes with the game.

Are there multiple usernames on your computer? I had the same problem, but I realized that I had to be on the same name that I installed FoF to, then I had to go to the ini, add the changes, and it worked. I can only play on that name, but it works fine.

Is it possible to change it in theme.ini or it's just possible to change it in fretsonfire.ini

Damn ppl, you never read enough, I found all the answers to those questions a long time ago on the forum

fretsonfire.ini is in a hidden directory so if you search for it, you need to search for hidden files.
And fret color modding is only working after you installed the RF_mod2

But use the seach option better!! you get the forum redundant with your multiple posts about the same subjects. Understand that before posting 'cause you're lazy

You can change the colors of the frets/keys even without the RF mod 2.0, I changed shortly I installed the game to orange.
Goodbye everyone. It's been fun. I spent many many hours here on these boards and playing/contributing to FoF. Today I uninstalled my game and deleted all my files. I just don't have the time or interest anymore. I won't be coming back here anymore. I might show up in the IRC from time to time to chat. I regret nothing.

So long, farewell.

I just did it in the theme.ini for a mod. Using
fret2_color = #FFF100 or whatever color of fret you want.
Why am I on this website? I'm clearly over the age limit of 14.

I realized while changing my keys again, that what I said above doesn't work. You do have to do it in the fretsonfire.ini

i think part of the problem is that search isn't in size 72 bold font in the middl eof the screen. the search page shold come up before the main page does

That would be stupidly annoying. You wouldn't be able to read the forum without seeing a search page every other thread.

And no, it should be in the same spot it is, at the same size, it's the people asking these repetitive questions that needs to change.

i think what should change is the **** attitude that all forum regulars have. you should know that there are people that come here and don't know to read the FAQ. people come here because they are new to the game, and this is the second link on google related to the game. i know no one in the real world that knows this game............. er go (that means therefore) i believe that people should have at most a small amount of leniency toward the noobs. you saw the exponential rate of growth of the RF mod. therefore i think you should all settle the **** down when it comes to answering noob questions. ******* christ (if you believe in that ****), you should all remember the first forum you joined... any of this sound familiar... i am sure that the majority of you have dealt with this hostility... possibly back in the mid-90's...

have some effing respect for other humans.... god dammit
