Put them in your stages folder. These only work for Alarian, found HERE

so i put all the pictures into stages folder? i did that and nothing happend

You have to title them correctly. Like: Stage01.png. Then you have to go and open FoF Alarian. GO to Options>Visual settings (Or performance settings) and turn stage rotate: on, Rotate: In order Rotate delay: 0.

to use animated stages:
1.download the stages to your desktop or other location where you can find them easyly
2.backup your current stages folder (just in case you want to use the stages you have l8r)
3.delete everything in your stages folder
4.unzip your new stages into your stages folder
5.got to settings/mfhalarian mod settings x.xx
6.change "stage rotation" to "in order"
7.set the desired delay (usually 0,1,2 or 3)
then start the game and rock out!!!

THAT'S ALL YOU HAVE TO DO?!?!? I've been downloading Youtube videos, taking a pic, stop, repeat, crop all the pics (around 50) AND rename them as stage1 stage2 (etc.) That's a relief now that I know how to do it! Thanks!
Can we get this forum going again?

here is an even easyer way
download the youtube vids as a mp4 then get an mp4 to png thing then rename them
