I DIDN'T REMOVE IT I MADE IT SO THAT IT'S ALWAYS ON AND REMOVED THE OPTION I NEVER SAID I'D REMOVE IT, ARE YOU RETARDED?!?!?!?!?!?!
[/caps]

The only thing I removed was the "Board speed by BPM" which means that the speed of the board is depending only on BPM... vBPM is in function, the changes aren't as radical with the board speed by: difficulty+bpm

I didn't think about this and I'm going to rewrite the code for the neckspeed so that the bpm-changes are more apparent.

What about separate neck folders??? I am always using a "random" as neck, but sometimes it loads a RB neck...IMO the RB necks doesnt looks good in GH3 mod and GH3 necks doesnt look good in RB mod too.

Alarian 2.62 is ok but it didnt upload scores so i deleted it and got 2.6 again and the uploading works again. That's a new issue isn't it? It's a bad thing cos i think 2.62 is better but i want my scores to be seen by the world! Search fofchart with starpower with user Samuq, there are my scores :p
haha anime yes

Is it okay if you can make an archive of 2.62 instead of an installer? It won't install on mine 'cause it says that I have to have administrative privileges to continue, which I don't have. Thanks in advance :D

Ok. Small fretboard issue I would like to ask about.

I tried a fretboard. named it "Neck_20.png". Its the same size as the Gh1 fretboards, which work fine. If I don't add this fretboard, it works fine, if I add it, the game don't even open. I tried using a different number instead of 20, and it didn't work, so I dunno. If the Gh1 fretboards work, I would assume this one would too, seeing as its exactly the same size and everything.

Would someone mind testing it out to make sure my computer isn't just being stupid?

I think it's really case sensitive in file name, the "N" in neck should be lowercase so it should be neck_20 instead of Neck_20.

Um, all the others a capital N <_<

Edit: Found out that it has nothing to do with the image. Just tried another fretboard and named it "Neck_20.png" and it didnt work either

Edit2: I am now confused as hell. I just tried a GH3 fretboard named "Neck_20.png" and it works fine.

Edit3: Just tried a different sized fretboard, and it worked fine. Aperently it doesnt like fretboards that are 128x256 set as Neck_20.

Edit4: Even more confused now. I just tried a Gh1 fretboard(128x256) as Neck_20 and it worked fine.

It seems to only do it with these 2 fretboards(They're both from the Gh2 Demo)

Ignore my problem. I got it working. It must have been a problem with the file. I opened Neck_1 and pasted the problemed neck on top and re-saved as Neck_20 and it works fine. So I dunno. Sorry.

Hey folks, what about to finish the Gh1 and Gh2 mod??? It seems like some kind of decoration and not mods...just repleced Gh3 stuff...Cant you use a worldraves Gh2 rock meter??? I dont wanna angry someone, but it would be nice if it will be completed.

EDIT: I have got an idea...why dont we use a similar code with overdrive neck in GH3 in the star power under neck lightning??? (of course instead of RB graphics)

Couple things:

1) To the people that were arquing about "clapping" durring StatPower in Gh3. I dunno if it was settled or not, but there IS clapping durring sp. It's quiet, and hard to hear, but it's there,.. At least, in the PS2 version it is. I just played a song and it had clapping.

2) Is there a way to edit the "glow" durring long notes and things. Not the flame/spark thing, but the actually spinning glow thing that comes up when you hold long notes/hit a note. "Glow-FX"? I use the GH3 theme mostley, and that "Glow Effect" isn't in actual GH3, so I was gonna edit it/remove it, but I dunno how, or what to edit.

finally!

---------------------ALARIAN V2.62 HOTFIX---------------------------
Instructions: Just unzip the hotfix into your Alarian main folder (where FretsOnFire.exe and the data folder reside). It will replace your fretsonfire.ini with a fresh one (back up yours if you want to refer to old settings) and various files in the Alarian\data folder.

If anyone finds problematic note patterns with the after-chord HOPOs, please confirm by performing multiple tests with the various HOPO options, and then create a blank / silent song containing just the problematic pattern and send it to me to use for debugging. Please ensure that your test song exhibits the same problem, if not you need to include more surrounding notes.

Remember, my hotfixes are cumulative - the latest fix contains all previous fixes unless otherwise noted.

---------------------
Latest hotfix:

Hotfix #12 - Link - Post
****Added logic to not draw UC's multiplier streak fill overlay when the player has 0 streak (before, it would always show 1 streak filled)

<the following were not posted due to the FoF message board being offline>

Hotfix #11 - Screenshot -- Link
****Rescaled and repositioned UC's Rock Band multiplier streak mod (circular fill) to properly fill circle

Hotfix #10 - Link
****Added random main menu music function:
*****You may now have additional main menu background music .OGG files in your Themes\<themename>\Sounds folder.
*****You may name these music files anything you'd like, as long as the word "menu" is included somewhere
*****For example, in a Rock Band theme I now have "menuParanoid.ogg" and "menuTomSawyer.ogg" :)
*****As far as I can tell, the only limit to how many menu songs you can have is your memory and hard drive space.

Hotfix #9 - Link
****Fixed score upload bug "Invalid Mode: Rb"

---------------------
History:
note: no need to download old hotfixes unless the latest causes a new problem for you.

Hotfix #8 - Link - Post
****Ultimate Coffee's Rock Band multiplier mod has been integrated. His post
*****The multiplier fill just needs a small adjustment down and it will fit better
*****Now, any Rock Band theme can either use the original mult.png multiplier system or UC's new mult.png & mult2.png system
******The game will automatically detect when mult2.png exists and will use UC's new multiplier code
******If mult2.png does not exist, the original Rock Band multiplier code will be used.
****This hotfix contains new mult.png and mult2.png, intended for insertion into the "Rb" theme.
******If you have named your Rock Band theme differently, please move these files to the appropriate location

Hotfix #7 - Link - Post
****Fixed stage rotation / mode logic to allow "Default" stage, "No" rotation

Hotfix #6 - Link - Post
***New code submission from Capo:
****Starpower clap SFX are handled with new logic now, and play much more in sync with the beats.

Hotfix #5 - Link - Post
****Fixed second issue posted here:
*****Before, the game used the note's time position to keep track of when the user has begun a HOPO streak.
******This did not work correctly with the first note if it was exactly at time position 0.0, as the logic can't see this as a HOPO start.
*****Now, a separate variable keeps track of specifically when HOPOing or not. The first note may now be at time position 0.0.

Hotfix #4 - Link - Post
****New startup logic written - if a nonexistant theme folder name is selected (i.e. from an older release), a valid default theme will be forced.

Hotfix #3 - Link - Post
****Fixed GH2 Strict ascending HOPO issue posted here:
*****In GH2 Strict, you can now release a lower fret than a held HOPO'd fret without penalty

Hotfix #2 - Link - Post
****Stage Rotation new options:
*****"No" (stage doesn't change)
*****"Random" (stages rotate randomly)
*****"In Order" (stages rotate in order)
****Original stage rotation algorithm only used 10 images. New stage rotation will use all available stage images.
****Changed stage rotation delay option to adjust easier, in steps of 50 instead of steps of 1
*****Also increased stage rotation delay maximum to 2000 (up from 1000)

Hotfix #1 - Link - Post -- Ds~ Rock Band Mod V3 modularized
****Fully modularized Rock Band theme and all related code:
*****You may now name your Rock Band theme folder(s) anything you'd like, they no longer have to be "Rb"
*****The game specifically checks for "overdriveneck.png" in the theme folder to determine if it is a Rock Band theme.
