what we need is something that lets you create your own notes for your own songs, like the song maker/editer thingy in FoF, except, you pick the note,then choose which fret/s it will be played on. You hould also beable to add effects to the notes(like whammy bar effects).
i know what im asking is quite a lot, but think about it, somebody.

Having a problem...


I had frets of fire already installed, downloaded this version, and can't get it to start. I have it extracted, and moved the songs into the songs folder. I deleted the previous version of frets, and couldn't see where to uninstall it.

When I try to start it now, It says to see the log files.

Having a problem...

i'm having the same GD problems. you look at the log files and they are all janked...half the stuff doesnt work, i got it to work by putting in the ORIGINAL library zipped folder, but now my songs dont work, my song folders or directories are songs so they wont play.

Just a quick post:

I've not been around for a while and got a new job. I wanted to install your mod here but I didn't see the songs of GH since your links are dead.

I've read a few posts and constated how you answer to people who where asking for a new link or something.

THIS IS A FORUM. Lots of people are replying and there is 89 pages of useless chatting about your mod. I don't criticize this, as your mod is very nice and cool (I used it a long time ago).

I'm just sad about the fact that you don't want to answer politely to people not brave enough (or just in a hurry) to read the entire disscution. There is nothing about the songs in your sig and your first post is not up-to-date.

With all that said, I'm going to install something else on my computer to pass the time of my lunch breaks (Starcraft or Swat4, maybe, I don't know...) and want to tell you: Good night and rest well.

the reason why he shouts is because he gets asked so many times, and it just annoying for him. hes under a lot of pressure, having to make mods and songs and all, cut him some slack.

---> All I see here is a link for your mod (32 meg, already downloded that, very neat, thanks for your time on that), a link for a Christmas Pack, wich I presume is Chrismas songs, I don't really care about it (congrats on that too, you're really a motivated type of guy) AND a humoristic sentence. Nothing about the Guitar Hero Songs.

Anyway, don't matter, I found another topic already where I can grab them by sets (four or five songs) and there's everything I need.

Oh, you're talking about the guitar hero songs, I thought you meant my mod. Oh. Well, in another previous post I stated I would no longer be releasing the Guitar Hero songs due to the fact that it is copyright infringement, and therefore I don't want to be called a "pirate" whether I get caught or not.

Also, my Newgrounds Christmas Pack isn't about Christmas songs, but it was supposed to be released for Christmas, which, obviously, it wasn't.

Ok, now I get it. But know that if you would state this in your sig, there would be no more comments about the file 3 and 4 not working (because originally, they were the "songs" part of your mod, right?).

You people gotta stop asking for the GH songs from him, I mean, you're all members right, you have to be to post, so just go into tune posting, they have a sticky for all the GH songs, just get them there.
