I have a new version (0.69) available now. The usual links below:
Project Website

Notes:
MIDI Offset is the delay setting for the song. It is not completely implemented yet so I don't recommend using it.
No beat lines yet. I didn't have enough time to add them but I wanted everyone to be able to at least use the BPM feature.
For v0.7 I will have the beat lines and finish implementing the MIDI Offset.
I won't have any more free time until Thursday so I will finish v0.7 then.

New Features:
Supports BPM other than the default 120. Go to "Song->Properties" to set.
Added BPM calculator. Just select some consecutive notes that occur on the beat and go to the "Beat->Calculate BPM" menu item.
Added support for additional song information. Now saves BPM, Frets By, and MIDI offset, the latter two also written to the INI file.
Fixed:
Now updates INI file properly upon save.

mm it would be nice if one could make a new project from an existing .mid....well more than nice cause i kinda "really" need it
Working on it.
Add to built-in bmp calculator feature that you can selcec part of the song that you want to calculate example. 1:00-1:50.
When I add VBPM you will be able to do this.

I am working on VPBM right now. That will be the main new feature for 0.8.
After I get that working I will work on the MIDI import feature.

I'm just wondering why you have to press alt to get to the menu, can't you make it vissible all the time, it would be easier...
It's on my to-do list. I think everyone wants VBPM and MIDI import more so I am working on those.

Once again, I have to say thank you. Do you guys realize that we have on our hands an easy to use song editor that has the combined features of freetar and feedback, but doesn't require external conversion programs.
That's just awesome.

VBPM is almost complete. I didn't have time to finish up tonight but I do have the UI completed and the export function makes a proper MIDI file, I just need to test some other scenarios to make sure I have covered all the bases. I probably won't make any more progress for a few more days.
