i have an idea for a freestyle mod with one can play the guitar without given frets and song.
So one can choose the guitar sounds and rock the booth :-P
what about such a mod? would somebody be confident?

greetings,

It's been thought of before.

From what I've heard, it's not gonna happen anytime soon. Besides, how would you go about playing a song with only five frets?
If you need me, I'll be on KKF or Brofist Forums. >.<

Stained - Outside, whole freaking song, only 4 chords....

Proof of Concept I guess.

Look at Rock Band. Freestyle solos can get pretty wild. Also, look at the cheats menu in the GH games. Now, say you changed the two little black buttons on the XBox guitar to move up and down a scale (press down to get a lower set of notes, up to get a higher) and you've got a pretty decent setup. Then it's up to the community to make 'sound packs' of different sounds - you could probably just cut and paste from Garage Band, which has tons of guitar sounds.
