So guys, how about a contest? I see a lot of people are trying to pimp their keyboards/toy guitars. I just started mine, have some idea's I'll hope work out. I'd really like to see a contest here. We'll need a jury though, maybe the frets on fire staff? Tell me what you think.

bad attitude.

I plan on adding a strap for mine if I ever get around to it. I saw a post somewhere about a simple version out of just zipties and duct tape, but I wanted to try something a bit more substantial.

I went a more extreme route and built a controller from scratch. Once I get some handgrips on it'll be more ergonomic than a keyboard OR the Guitar Hero controller.

Was yours the Lego one? That was pretty cool. I'd love to see the finished version.

Nah, I used a plastic enclosure. Same basic idea as the LEGO one though- wire buttons to a keyboard circuit board, and build a case to hold them.

Sounds cool! I've just finished painting my keyboard black, now I'd really like some flames on it. I'll just stick to my keyboard because I think the idea of playing guitar on your keyboard is funny, and because I don't have the skills to build a controller from scratch. ;)

Hehe looks cool, I made a strap on mine as well. Here are some pictures:

(If you take a closer look at this picture you can see i implemented my name in the key layout:P,
Q W E R U V D ...
B O S C H
my name is ruud, but I had to use a V because there are no 2 U's on a keyboard. )

Now I'm hoping to make some orange flames on it, but the spraypaint is so damn expensive.

Mine is a few simple mods to an old keyboard to make it more fit. I'm working on a usb guitar.

I play with ~1234 and both shift and enter for strumming.

i´ve got the idea to decrease the button pressing distance...may its to play the soli because rapid button pressing would be easier...

has someone an idea for realizing my thought?
