I'm not sure if this is a problem i'm experiencing alone or a known bug with FoF, but when i'm scrolling left/right down the guitar neck in the song editor the acceleration that gradually speeds up the scrolling never seems to stop when i release my arrow keys. What i mean is when i release the key close to where the beat is and tap it to move forwards a small amount to place my next fret marker in the ideal place, it moves off thousands of seconds into my track as if i had been holding the key the entire time. Similarly if i press left to get back to the beginning after this has happened it rockets back to 0:00 in the blink of an eye.

Sometimes it actually goes to far into the "track" that FoF just hangs, and i need to ctrl+alt+del my way out.

Does this happen to everyone or just me, and is there a fix? I've been wondering if it's maybe my mp3 converted to .ogg file that it doesn't, like but according to the ID tags they're exactly the same as the default FoF tracks' settings.

It's really frustrating me as it's only started happening recently and i'm halfway through a song i've been trying really hard to synch perfectly.

Failing fixing it, i heard about using midi sequencers to generate the frets - is this hard(er than the FoF editor) and what programs could i use to do this?

Cheers all! And apologies for the long-winded post...

PS: Actually while i'm on the subject i'll pop this one in too. I've made a series of long chaining chords, however when i playtest the track it truncates the long drawn out markers into little stubs like single frets. Other times my fret markers dissapear completely and i have to re-create them. Does this happen to anyone else either?

Nevermind guys, i pinned down the problem to my dualcore cpu last night via a process of elimination. Everything is working well now.

Mods you can go ahead and delete this if you feel the need =)
