How this GH-file chart (song.pak.xen) convert to notes.mid?????

I don't know that "song.pak.xen" may be convert to "notes.mid"... :(

I have worked extensively(finding bugs) with RayneBC with the EOF program to allow importation of the GHWT>on-ward song.pak.ngc files and to a certain extent the x360 song.pak.xen files. If you are trying to use the version from GH3 then it will require a few steps more then just importing them into EOF. I'll briefly explain it.

1) Install GH3 PC
2) Install GHTCP
3) decrypt/unpack GH3/DLC audio/chart
4) convert audio
5) import audio/chart into GH3PC through GHTCP
6) after successfully importing, you can export the chart as a db. chart file.
7) load the db. chart file in EOF through its feedback import function.
8) have fun!

If you're using the Wii version try to load the ISO into RawkSD.

Ok, to get it off of the game...you have to re-import it and execute the action...then you'll be able to extract it.

1) gather files..."*song.pak.xen" and the music file "*.fsb.xen" to a new folder.

2) unpack the audio file with this batch file, just copy it to the folder above(step 1) and run it "decrypt_unpack.bat" > http://www76.zippyshare.com/v/61618911/file.html

3) In GHTCP > File Menu > Add New Song..and input the info



4) Execute the action so it's extractable



5) Once its executed and in the game setlist...now you can export it as a "GH3PC db Based Chart File (*.dbc)"



6) rename the file from >.DBC to >.CHART



7) Load it and the guitar audio in EOF



8) Just press SAVE in EOF and you'll get a notes.mid file.

You have to File Menu > Open Game Settings > before you can do anything. You know it worked because songs will be listed.

Well, I suggest you first calm down and stop swearing about developers, who worked hard to give us such great tools. We are trying to help you, so please don't be offended by what we are saying. If your Game Settings aren't opening - is your Guitar Hero 3 installed properly? When you start your Guitar Hero 3, is in the main menu an option called Custom Menu? If not, then GHTCP is not installed properly. I use the procedure written by bluzer every day to extract charts from songs in the game, so I know it is working. Make sure you follow the guide step by step.

Tip: You can specify the original song .fsb.xen as Audio Track without the need to extract the mp3s from it, GHTCP supports this.
