Do it! FOF is growing so fast with new versions and big mods, along with the upcoming online, some people are going to fall behind news wise (like me). I would definatly listen/watch.

I'll have to warn you making a decent Podcast, is difficult. And I mean it. It takes a long time, Need a lot of editing, need a script, you need a lot of practice. And you need decent recording tools. And I emphasis script.

What are you going to talk about? You couldn't really talk about say the Guitar Hero/Rock Band rips or mods and associate the cast with this site. Plus we have a news section under construction at the wiki thanks to Azzco.

But if you want to go through hell of making one without people who know what they're doing, go ahead. Just don't do anything stupid.

Meh.. noone really caught it I guess, si I ended up with only a draft on the wiki...

In any case, avoid talk about rips. and focus on fof stuff, like mods and themes, and howtos (recording gameplay, advanced features).

It's not like I dislike sleeping, I really do like it to be honest. It's the whole wake up/go to sleep business I don't like.

@Azzco ok, thanks for the help
@Marvin
I used to have a podcast but I stopped paying for it and it's gone.
I recently got a Windows Vista Optliplex 360, and I used to record my podcast with GarageBand on my mac.
Any *FREE* windows podcast software?

Who needs a script? Has anyone ever heard the scorehero podcast? I think they wing it with only a few structured topics and sometimes it's really funny and interesting and I think you guys should do that.

Ahem.

*Puts on Open Source Advocacy hat*

That 'but' in there makes it sound as if you think Open Source is a bad thing... wut?

I have a good mic, I'd love to participate. I've wanted to make my own podcast for a while now but my computer can't record itself unless I put a wire from my headphone jack to my mic jack, and even then I'd need it to record from two sources which I think I'd need a soundboard for.

Anyway, I'd totally be up for it. I can do it any day besides wens-thurs (after 5:00 PM).

I am very well versed in podcasts, so if you need advice on what to talk about, the structure of the show, anything like that, I can help.

You can technically create a podcast with audacity if you really know what you're doing.

Need a lot of editing, need a script

No, not at all. The highest rated podcasts are usually just guys talking. Unless you wanna do a 100% solo podcast then you shouldn't have any trouble with anything other than recording itself.
