you dont need to add it, i never had to anyway. it might depend on what your using to access IRC. If you use mirc, once you have connected to the UNDERNET servers, all you have to type is /join fof-ff
And that should take you right to the channel.

I keep getting connection timeouts when I use eu.undernet.org, and I get connection class full errors when I use us.undernet.org.

Any help? (I have Firefox, but adding an extension to it = me in deep ****, as this isn't my own computer. I don't have mIRC either, but see above reason why I can't put it on)

BSRaven. Not sure why your getting those errors, but i know i get the connection class error if i try connecting to any of the US undernet servers. I usually connect through either London undernet or amsterdam undernet. The timeout error is just because its taking too long to try and get a connection established. there are many EU AND US undernet servers, just try a different one! other than that i really dont know how to cure it.

I've never used IRC before. what do I do?

Try doing what it suggests. Set your user name to be the same as the first part of the supplied email address.

So go into your " connect options" and set it to something like this!!

"Full Name" Jakey Mc Cakey.
"Email addy" Jakey@someplace,com
"nickname" Jake2k3
"ALT Nickname" Jake2k
Obviously you dont have to use THEM settings but you can see what i mean about first part of the user name and email addy being the same. I dont know if they HAVE to be the same but mine are ( BTW the email address doesnt have t be real !! )

I got it working, thanks. I had it set so that my "Full Name" was jake2k3, with my email being [email protected], but I guess it realised that no one has numbers in their name and wouldn't let me in

It works now, though.
