The FoF-GZ Conflict - The Fanboy warzz must end

I'm tired of all the biased opinions coming from both ends. I want all of you to stop dissing GZ/GZ2 because you stumbled on to FoF first or some lame reason like that. Don't say that FoF is in every way better than GZ because they both have their ups and downs. I recently checked the GZ forums which R4L moderates, and I saw that the anti-FoF-ism is worse than us.

Who knows? If we stop dissing them, they might stop dissing us.

I can plug my GH guitar right into the USB port and play. That is the #1 reason I stick with FOF.

Oh, and 2 player.

Dunno about good song makers but one can simply convert FoF songs into GZ format! (they have a retarded .dat file filled with: note 324 at 56.096, but it comes with a program toconvert the .midi to .dat, I originally started playing GZ on my other comp but since it broke i couldn't. So i looked for a substitute, which is how I found FoF, now i'd never go back! FoF=Pwn

I'm not downloading GZ because the .net framework is too big (boo, 3gig cap!). It looks pretty good, but I'm not so sure my computer would be able to run it. But no open-source and being limited to Windows (as far as I can see) = BIG BOO.

If only FoF wasn't written in Python so it would lag less... the frame-rate is low even on 320x200 resolution with the Mega-Lite mod (easily playable, though).

Ok, well if we're all open and friendly now, can someone tell me what strides have been made in the GZ world? Isn't it called Guitar Star now?

Someone mentioned 2 player mode . . I don't remember that when I played it. It was a little while back though.
