What the hell is HO/PO. All I noticed when I turned it on is that some note's spot's turned different shades of blue.

For the most part, Warhol.
The notes that have a different color spot are called Ho/Po (abbreviation for "Hammer-On/Pull-Off") notes, and if you correctly strum the note immediatly before a Ho/Po note, you do not have to strum it. You only need to press the corresponding fret button when the Ho/Po comes across the keys. If a Ho/Po note comes after another Ho/Po note, the same applies; if you successfully hit the Ho/Po note before it, you will still not need to strum.

If you missed the note before a Ho/Po, you can still strum the Ho/Po and continue playing normally. In fact, you can strum any note you want, Ho/Po or not, but learning to simply "tap" Ho/Po notes will help you in the long run.

Any more questions?

Goodbye everyone. It's been fun. I spent many many hours here on these boards and playing/contributing to FoF. Today I uninstalled my game and deleted all my files. I just don't have the time or interest anymore. I won't be coming back here anymore. I might show up in the IRC from time to time to chat. I regret nothing.

So long, farewell.
