I tend to stay away from GD unless an interesting topic had the last post (like this case). It was worse. I've seen it where the whole first page and two topic into the next page were polls.
But yeah, it is a problem. You can kill a thread if you just leave it there to starve. Polls are like zombies, they don't need food and they keep coming back o_0.

Goodbye everyone. It's been fun. I spent many many hours here on these boards and playing/contributing to FoF. Today I uninstalled my game and deleted all my files. I just don't have the time or interest anymore. I won't be coming back here anymore. I might show up in the IRC from time to time to chat. I regret nothing.

That Would be a good idea, having them in there own place. That way if your not a voting kinda person like me ( perhaps that why our government is so screwed up ) You dont have to see them. But if you like to have a vote on things then you can go right there .
