Sound/Video Stuttering - can't solve it

Here's my hardware config:
Ahtlon64 3500+
X800GTO2 @ 500:490
on board sound card.

I get video and sound stuttering (both fullscreen and windowed), making fast songs impossible to play, i get that GLEWpy not found error, but i cant find anything to solve that...

Please help! :)

look for an anti-virus application...may you have an trojan in the background who is stealing your performance...or if you have activated anti aliasing, deactivate is cause its not necessary for this game

Did you check to see that your computer is set to 32-bit colors?

yes it is.
for now i'm playing at 640x480, just to be sure, but i think my pc should perform a little more with such a simple game

Setting max FPS to 100 made my game smoother, but there's still some periodical stutter.

it's the pagefile usage...once it goes so high it has to come from the HD and stutters often.

The memory leak needs to be fixed!
