They used ghex. See if the creator will release the rock band version that I think he made for himself, but did not release. I think that extracts everything.

The notes are throwing me off. I think they set up some kind of way to have the game only use one set of notes for the ones that are in the same position for all the diffs. If I am correct this would be to save space for other parts of the game.

That is brilliant. Is there anything I can do to help? Post some resources up! I couldn't get the other things workin. I'll see what I can do. Never done this before, but I can still try.

*sigh*
You can extract the notes (not audio) with this.
But, we could just have it like a regular song, using the original version.

I have an X-box Magazine demo disk with 3 exclusive Rock Band songs. Does anyone know a program to view all the files on the disk?

I downloaded the IJFA song for drums, but it keeps recognizing it as a guitar track. Any idea why?

I think that the tool above might do it. Try it out!

No, the tools will work once I see the files on the disk. But the disk is encoding in such a way that files are not shown on the computer. In other words, the disk only works on X-box 360, which I dont have.

I got the midis off the x box disc. If you want I can post the midis or I can just make the songs and post them that way.

Yes, you better do it. I wasn't successful with syncing RB songs.
