I have Vista Ultimate x64 and never even realised there were issues with Vista as I've played it perfectly without any problems on here.
I'm using the latest version, and don't need to set compatibility settings to run the game (I tried with and it made no difference whatsoever, if anything it made it crash more).
I found a way to get FoF working on Vista! - It's so easy you won't believe it works!

I just recently discovered that with a dual-core processor, songs (especially big ones) load slower than they do on a single core. I noticed that when I go into the Task Manager and set FoF to run on a single cpu, songs loads a lot faster. When I say faster, I'm talking about 3 to 5 minutes faster. I've confirmed this on both XP and Vista. Is anyone else experiencing this? XP x64 on dual core is still loading faster than Vista x64 on Dual core. But on a XP x86 single core, songs loads almost instantaneously... mind you... my gf's computer is A LOT slower than mine.
I tested this out with the GH2 PS2 rips, since the *.mid files are generally bigger with these songs. The first song that I noticed this on was Freya.
