Yeah, the name 'Guitar Villian' has been copyrighted by Harmonix, or Neversoft or whoever was in charge at the time, but so were a few other names, I think, and they said they won't be using them all.
Its just like life. Quite interesting in parts, but no substitute for the real thing.

Yeh, it's probably just to stop other companies making ripoffs with names which could be considered similar - they don't want to be associated with them.

Lol there was a whole list of names the copyrighted on Wikipedia, let's see...
Yep, they copyright Guitar Villian, Drum Hero/Villian, Band Hero, Keyboard Hero, and some others.
Goodbye everyone. It's been fun. I spent many many hours here on these boards and playing/contributing to FoF. Today I uninstalled my game and deleted all my files. I just don't have the time or interest anymore. I won't be coming back here anymore. I might show up in the IRC from time to time to chat. I regret nothing.

So long, farewell.

First tracks from GH: 80's revealed:
I Wanna Rock (by Twisted Sister)
I Ran (by Flock of Seagulls)
Round and Round (as made famous by Ratt)
I Want Candy (as made famous by Bow Wow Wow)
Metal Health (as made famous by Quiet Riot)
Holy Diver (as made famous by Dio)
Heat Of The Moment (as made famous by Asia)

I can't wait to try these in FOF/GZ! (since I dont have a PS2, and its not on 360)
I hope they are ported over quickly.
I wonder how many songs total there will be.
80's rule.

edit: Looks like 30 tracks in total.
Boy, why so few?

And he will laugh right back at you when he is tweaking on his whammy bar and watching his animated backgrounds with better special effects.

Owned.

I'm hopeing for some of the classic 80's metal. The 80's spawn some of the greatest metal bands of all time. I hope to see more Megadeth in this one. Dave FTW!

80's music does not suck. Most of the genres of music that are very popular today originated in the 80's. The 80's was the best decade EVER for music. 80's metal forever!
