just do something wonderfully, amazingly, impossibly, hard to do and you get a sticky (or something useful and convenient that helps with stuff)

thanks, maybe people should sticky this, that way we dont get a buncha people saying that FoF wont work on vista.

If it can be confirmed, I'd say a sticky in Installation Help section would be warrented.

I confirm it works.

However, it worked for me before anyway, but it still works (perhaps even a little better) in 2000 compatibility mode.

Because they're all too busy making threads saying "I WANT IT TO WORK ON VISTA *CRY CRY CRY*"
Its just like life. Quite interesting in parts, but no substitute for the real thing.

what i'm wanting to know is whether it works better with vista or xp, since i'm going to be getting a computer with vista and i'm going to dual boot it with xp, so i want to know which partition i should install FoF on.

It worked for me on vista with the compatibility thing, but it was very laggy, that may be becasue I ran it from my xp partition from vista, but I cant be **** to boot into xp to try it. I've used the compatibility thing to get my scanner to work in vista, so theres no reason why it shouldn't work.

I set it to 2000....it was laggy. Doesn't matter to me though, I play GZ, it works fine on Vista.
