Sucking at RB after playing FoF?

Also make sure your lag is calibrated in RB. Even if you are using a standard CRT TV and all that there's still differences in lag

I believe I can.
'Early hit window' is the amount of time you have to hit a note's window before it sits exactly on the hit area. When it is set as RB, you get no hit window before the note so you must hit it perfectly on or after. In GH mode you can hit notes half early, and in FoF mode you can hit notes as early as you can hit them late. A diagram will help:

The note window itself doesn't change at all, overall I think the gameplay difference is very minor

I've understood the explanation (although the game doesn't feel much different after putting the early-hit-window off) but I can't see the difference between the 2 pictures.

the note window is moved down to behind the fret buttons instead of in the middle
