If this worked, I assume it would work for the wired Xbox 360 controllers as well. I doubt this would work though.

I've read that the wireless headset will work if you have the wireless receiver. Since a wired controller will work on the pc, I don't see why the headset wouldn't work. I'll borrow my brother's headset this weekend and give it a shot. I'll let you know how it goes.

hmm, worked pretty well for me
Also has anyone noticed?
I played guitar hero 2 360 and have beaten the game on medium twice, going for hard (almost done)
The other day i played frets on fire, then PS2 guitar hero 2.
I SUCKED!
Teh ps2 was on an hdtv if that has anything to do with it.
I think that GH2 360 is more "Forgiving" on hitting extremely close to notes.

I'm curious, are the notes exactly the same b/w the 360 and PS2 versions?

It says in the loading menus that an HDTV could cause the game to lag on PS2. It tells you to change a setting in the options menu.

Yeah. I've plugged the 360 headset into a wired controller plugged into the computer. It recognizes the headset (it was like V31.12 Headset or something, controller was similar, probably varies between controllers), but you have to go into the Sounds and Audio Devices Properties and make it the default recording device, I'm pretty sure. I think I remember playing online with the controller and headset before on the computer.

Haven't tried with a GH2 guitar, although it should be the same.
