I'm buying a guitar just for Frets on Fire (don't have a 360, PS3, or Wii) and it would appear that this will work:

I have a question.

Does all PS2 wireless guitars come with a PS2 wireless adaptor like in the picture ?

And do you think it will work with my PS2-to-USB adaptor ?

nyko frontman for ps3 works 100% fine with me (PC Vista 64 bits, FoF alarian)

The initial setup is kind of akward, but here's how to do it:


1.plug in the usb dongle included with the guitar. set the middle button (you'll se) on guitar hero mode.

2.Open up FoF.

3. Press on the pedal (onto the dongle) then on the nyko button of the guitar (those are the two conection buttons, both need to be activated in order to establish the FIRST connection, after what you'll only need to link from the guitar.)

4. It takes less than 30sec, then, normally, the nyko button on the guitar becomes red.


That's it.

Hi,

you can put GH WT Solo Guitar Pack Bundle for Wii on the NOT working List. I tried it yesterday. Same as in all posts i found here and other sources in the web.

i testes Glovepie with all the scripts i could find (6 in sum) for the guitar. All the keys on the guitarr had no effect, but if they got pressed on the wiimote they worked,
even with a connected nunchuck. The internal connection of the guitar will not be recognized by glovepie. Even with input detection in the wiimote test script.

I think they changed the protocol and/or hardware of the GH WT and GH 4 controllers. I will bring mine back today and i have ordered a wireless le pauls for GH3 on amazon.

Please could you let us know if you really had the GH:WT Wii guitarr, because i had exact the same symptons on mine like many others, so
what exactly did you buy, when, which script do you use ? I only get a 255 in the debug window and this should be the battery status.

Could someone give me a brief idea of what I'd have to do to get it playing along nicely with FoF?

If that wouldn't work where can a get a good priced guitar in New Zealand? (Shipping is possible but a little expensive out here)

All It needed was batteries and the control buttons set.
Found it at Best Buy on clearance for less than $10 U.S. currency.

Hi guys. I bought an Njoy ps2 wireless guitar and a ps2-usb adaptor for my pc but I can't get it to work. Windows picked up the adaptor so that parts ok, but I can't get the guitar to sync with the reciever. The instructions say press the button on the reciever and then turn on the guitar, but the LED just keeps flashing manically and then goes back to slow flashing. Windows doesn't pick up input from the controller.

Any ideas? Do you think this is because its plugged into a pc and not a ps2? Thanks.

Plugged it in and set the buttons in FOF…did not need a second controller plugged in for it to work.

Worked well with these guitars…yeah I have a few guitars, got 3 of them a few weeks ago at Circuit City. They matched the online sales prices of $10 and $15 each!
