HOPOs work differently than GH3, you have to hit them exactly. I use the script from Mario Valenzuela on http://www.wiili.org/forum/glovepie-wii-mote-scripts-t360-s273.html with my wii-tar and it works good with HOPOs

Why does it take a long time for me to navigate the song lists? I don't have preview on, its just moving from one song to the next. If I hit the down key multiple times it waits a minute and then goes down really fast.

Most of the problems I've had connecting the wiimote to the computer are due to bluetooth. Sometimes it will pair up just fine and then just cut out when the lights stop flashing. hehe yeah, an easy way to read crappy font colors though is to just highlight the whole thing with your mouse.
