Harmonix is crowdfunding to bring RB4 to PC...

https://www.fig.co/campaigns/rock-band-4-pc They're also bringing back RBN through Steam Workshop. Harmonix is looking to raise $1.5 million to port Rock Band 4 to PC, and they are including perks for backers. But the reason I post this here is because of the implications that a PC version of Rock B...

And the RBN tip is great, thanks. :)

When charting drums, you can denote whether a drum hit is a tom or a cymbal for yellow, blue, and green. That's how Phase Shift can support 7-lane drums while FoFiX can't.

Re: fof or ps ??????

FoFiX last update: December 6, 2009
Phase Shift last update: January 2, 2015
Today's date: February 20, 2016
My birthday: February 29

I don't know, use some inference to figure out why most of us chart for Phase Shift.

Re: EOF 1.8RC10 - Now with Rocksmith 2014 support

1. Without manually entering diff_keys_real = -1 into the ini file, the game won't display the "No Part" message (or something like that) and it will show the same difficulty rating as if the difficulty was 0. This is all with the RB3 theme, btw. It's just kinda jarring to have "No Pa...

Re: EOF 1.8RC10 - Now with Rocksmith 2014 support

Some features I'd really like to see with the next hotfix: - Automatic addition of "diff_keys_real = -1" to the song.ini file - Ability to set the preview time within EOF (possibly with an event marker) - Copy/pasting tempo maps from other charts (for the sake of solo compilations) Thanks ...

Re: Solved Guitar cause song initialization to fail on Win10

I'm not seeing the purple open note lines (Similar to the bass pedal notes on drums), seem to be replaced by green HOPO's. Warriors of Rock was the only Guitar Hero song pack I was unable to get from the hosting sites posted in the forum, I'm sure Band Hero and Guitar Hero 5 both have the open bass...

Re: Solved Guitar cause song initialization to fail on Win10

EDIT: Is there a way to select Guitar Hero style open notes for Bass? Not quite sure what you mean by this. Are you just not seeing open notes or do they look weird in-game? Not all charters use open-notes when they chart customs. Downloading some of Bluzer's official GHWoR tracks should have open ...

Re: Solved Guitar cause song initialization to fail on Win10

Only having one adjustable calibration setting presents a problem for a lot of people. Some monitors have a delay between when the computer sends out the video signal and when the monitor actually shows the video signal (let's call this video lag). Some sound set-ups have a delay between when the co...

Re: Weekly online PS game (Sunday Dec 13, 4:30pm UTC)

OK, I've hosted a game with "Weekly Online Phase Shift Game" as its message, but I don't see any place to set a password. Any help? Can anyone see my game?

Edit: Nevermind, got the password and server name to work. Now I'm just waiting for people to join.

Re: Weekly online PS game (Sunday Dec 13, 4:30pm UTC)

Ahhh that sucks.:/ If no one else can host, I'll try to host, and hope that it works this time. P.S. to everyone, I'll say this now: when it's your turn to choose a song, do not choose Dream Theater - A Change of Seasons. Any other song is fine, but a 24-minute song is just too long. I can try host...

Re: Weekly online PS game (Sunday Dec 6, 4:30pm UTC)

It turns out that smacking your guitar on the floor several times can fix its connection issues.

But crap, now I have to download 9 weeks worth of songs.

Re: HELP! Guitar cause song initialization to fail on Window

Yes, all FoFiX songs will work on Phase Shift, but not all Phase Shift songs will work on FoFiX, so that's why Phase Shift is the preferred game on this forum nowadays.
